If this is Ok with the mods, I figured the design thread could use a place to post comments, suggestions, or even just questions.

Jeff it is fixed blades only right?

Will the folder come with the same warranty as the regular line of fixed blades?

If so I will probably end up buying a couple :D.


Oh and original I meant small fixed blades only (By small I mean smaller than a machete), no machetes and no axes

I would assume that our lifetime warranty would include a folder. Having said that I know folders are more susceptable to failure because they hinge in the middle. But we will see. I will vote for standard warranty and SHon will likely tell us we are nuts be let's wait and see.:)
 
Some great participation in the design thread already! Good job. The only reason we're trying to keep the design thread focused is so we don't have a hundred pages of stuff to go through to look at all the designs.
 
Great idea about this thread. I remember the last one got cluttered very quickly. So far all the knives look good for their intended applications. I especially like the thin one without the sub-hilt(?).

I guess I need to bust out my map pencils and show yall my lack of talent.
 
No matter what you do, some folks will not follow the rules.
 
Such is life, eh? :) Some sweet designs though! I've got a few ideas floating around right now, but we'll see if I manage to get any of it onto paper! :D

to me the edge of the Blade is to far away from the users hand IMO looks cool as hell but I think if you remove the dead area between scales and blades edge ,remove choil & 1095 tit hanging down and that would be a sweet knife .Proto type B is close,but again that dead space ,I do not care for ... Great overall design bro, hope my comments dont Irk u ,no offense meant :thumbup::)... yours stood out the most to me in Design style that I like based on 1st. stroll thru thread. :D
 
Chewbacca--if the thumb ramp, hilt holes and recurve were dropped from your design I'd be totally down. :)

how can you say drop the recurve, with all the praises you have given the Brute and machax?
 
chewbacca, the knife you posted in the design thread reminds me of the TOPS/Rinaldi Armageddon.
 
I have to say there is some pretty good thought and work going into the design thread. I'm impressed so far. If we can just keep the thread focused and keep people from turning it into a discussion thread and READ THE DAMN RULES then we will be ok. Ok, I've calmed down.... :D :D
