Unfortunately, that was the first video I saw, after I got my bk2.

Fortunately, right after that, I discovered the becker sub-forum. :)
 
I don't know, what ever he thinks is fine with me. He's bought and paid for a knife from Kabar. He has IMO, buy purchasing the knife, earned the right to form an opinion. We don't have to like it or agree, but I am not going to label him anything other than talkative.
Seems like despite the negative video about the sheath, he is still saying the BK2 is a bad ass knife. I didn't feel as if he was bad mouthing the knife or Ethan, just the sheath issues...which we all know exist.
No skin off my back, I made my own sheath...leather pants is the way my Beckers roll anyhow (like Bladite back in the late 80's) I still love and support Kabar for selling some of the BEST knives on planet earth at a MORE THAN FAIR price.
 
This video was really dull. Does he have to be so blunt? Seriously, not the sharpest tool in the shed. Someone should have yelled 'cut' a while ago.
 
Thats annoying to me. Piss on him. He probably paid around $55 for the BK2 with the sheath. No ones making you buy the damn thing and its worth well over a $100 in value. If you love the knife, get over it. Throw the sheath you don't like in the trash and spend $20 on a aftermarket sheath and stop bitching. :jerkit:

I get having an opinion. I get being dissatisfied. Hell, I could probably make some videos about some Cold Steel knives that would get similar reception by their fans, but his attitude, style, presentation are just downright unpleasant if not annoying to watch. Contact KA-BAR. Write them a letter. Express your dissatisfaction with the product and see what can be done about it. Posting a video like that on YouTube only pisses people off. You catch more bees with honey, right? Wait, that doesn't make sense... Bees make honey. They don't go looking for it, do they? Aw, hell. You know what I mean.

You bought a knife. You don't like the sheath as it does not meet your expectations. Fine. Caveat Emptor. You got a better sheath. Yay. STFU.
 
Look at all the dulling from that dang sheaf! :p He doesn't even need it anymore because Gavkoo hooked him up yet he still decides to cry. I enjoy the part where he complains about how much time he is going to have to take to get the edge razor sharp again. Yeah it might take a while, but you didn't need to make the dang video and dull the knife in the first place XD
 
I dont even wanna see how badly this guy will b***h when and if he ever buys a 7 or 9 and sees the sheath THOSE come in! lol
 
Its just in some peoples nature to whine and complain rather than lift a finger and take action.
 
Now class, do you want to look like this *cough* less than a *cough* man, or do you want to be able to call yourself a mature, proper citizen of the planet?

This is the type of guy that will buy a knife to compensate for any lacking steel in his knife, and he will complain when a sheath for the knife that he bought is functional, but his is not.....

Ok, done with the snarky-ness.

He bought the knife/sheath combo, he has a right to form and speak his own opinion, he has the right to post a video review on youtube, but he has no right to say that Ka-Bar's sheath dulled his knife, because in fact, he bought the knife/sheath combo, therefore he owns them both, and on top of that, he most definitely did not pay more than $70, he could have said the sheath that came with this very high quality extremely thick piece of juicy steel, does not meet his expectations, and that a friend of his happens to make kydex sheaths and gave him one, and he's very grateful, so much that he is going to do a video review and post it on youtube.

But on the upside now we know who not to ask for an opinion.
 
LoL please dont ever compare me to ryanrrx hahaha. isnt that like the biggest insult ever? lol i love becker knives guys. like someone mentioned, bk2 isnt my taste for a knife but pretty much everything else is awesome in my book.

Yeah, the guy was pretty insulting towards Bladeforums as a whole, so I don't see him coming in here at any point. He made a good deal of his videos "private" so you have to subscribe or some bs to see them. He claimed he was the first with a full convex BK2 and went on and on about it like it was record breaking in it's awesomeness. When I pointed out it had been done many times before by people on here he got a little testy. I think Psyop was in there posting up comments with me on that particular vid. Whatever, the guy can have fun playing with his knives in his living room. Imma get mine dirty and use 'em.
 
Am I the only one that was hoping he'd run the BK2 through his hand while he was making a show of sheathing/un-sheathing his "blade" from Ka-Bars' "product"?

The problem isn't that he has an opinion on the sheath (I have one myself) or that he thinks the stock sheath sucks, but that he got a new fancy excellent kydex sheath from Gav and he still complains about the stock one like he's gonna die from it. He's like this with most things as far as I have seen.
