The King of Sheath Haterz

Yeah, the guy was pretty insulting towards Bladeforums as a whole, so I don't see him coming in here at any point. He made a good deal of his videos "private" so you have to subscribe or some bs to see them. He claimed he was the first with a full convex BK2 and went on and on about it like it was record breaking in it's awesomeness. When I pointed out it had been done many times before by people on here he got a little testy. I think Psyop was in there posting up comments with me on that particular vid. Whatever, the guy can have fun playing with his knives in his living room. Imma get mine dirty and use 'em.

To be fair I've never actually seen a full height convex BK-2 before untill I saw his video, many saber-convexes and convexed edges but never a full height ground one.

Just saw this in the comments on his vid and it made me sad:

"Holy crap- I was just about to purchase one of these...glad i saw this vid!"

It is unfortunate so many people are so easily influenced by the opinions of others.

It demonstrates an inability to think objectively and independently.

Am I the only one that was hoping he'd run the BK2 through his hand while he was making a show of sheathing/un-sheathing his "blade" from Ka-Bars' "product"?

I thought the same thing........come on, come on now hack that pinkie. Pretty stupid to have his fingers on the edge side of a sheath doing the rapid "in out"
After he stated his case, then restated the same thing over and over with that whiny petulant attitude. Say it and stand by what you have said like a man but don't whine already. I had an open hand trembling in "smack mode" with his verbal tone.
Man card revoked

To quote the venerable gunny Highway.......

"You can whip me, you can shoot me, you can beat me and you can kill me, just don't BORE me"

Hey, now. Not defending this guy or anything, but there's nothing wrong with a full-height convex grind (even a half-@ssed one with a secondary edge bevel). Not that I'd know or anything...

Oh, and for the record, I think I've actually USED my sheath enough to get past the dulling stuff now. A little patience goes a long way.

he calls himself a knifemaker and yet he paid bark river to convex his first ever full height convex bk2. pathetic if you ask me lol. he has no idea still what a good convex grind looks like... his d2 is stainless, his "left hand chizzle grind" is in reality right hand chisel, his "chopped through 2x4 in like 12 chops" is actually 37 chops to go through 2x3.... lot of lies and bs... i know there is lot of people like that on you tube, but there is lot of ppl who really know their stuff and share lot of good knowledge... and if you ask me, video is worth more then thousands of pictures and words....
thanks guys, long live becker :)

I thought you liked Ryan? You've got a shoutout vid to him and stuff?

Btw, keep up the awesome knives man, you've really inspired me to start customizing knives for myself.

ah nice man, i remember you from e2e site. great work on those! dude, i used to be his friend, i gave him work, then we hooked him up with another job, he lacked in both being lazy and instead of working he talks too much BS and hes same in the knifemaking. talking too much without backing it up with knowledge and often lying and deceiving trying to sell his crap. i despite him now...

Yeah, what he was trying to sell was a BK-2 with a spyderco spider hole on it. Why dont you stick around in the BK&T forum more man? Would be awesome to have someone with your skill over here.

im not big into forums man. and lot of people here would most likely disagree with you on me being someone with a skill lol :) im a you tube guy, you tube is my playground, thats where i have fun :) leaving no time or energy for forums really.

Why in gods name would you want a spyderhole on a BK. Dont get me wrong I love my spyderco's but that's just pointless.

Hahahaha, have fun on youtube then and keep up the legendary work. By the way, why dont you customize your Beckers now that you no longer make sheaths for people?

im having too much fun making my own customs. i dont want to sell stuff and make what people want, i want to make what i want :) and that little bit of time i have between my job, girl, knifemaking and you tube, doesnt leave any spare time to customize stock stuff anymore. Only customizing i do on stock stuff is convex the edge and make it cut better :)

Its still pointless..imo

Yeah I know, its making a remake of an original design and since its custom made he can sell it for god knows what and make some money off it. Theres obviously no point to buying one but theres plenty of peple out there who have collecting problems and will snap it up... Anyway, I havent heard anyone pick one up lately so I dont think his little hobby went so well.

lol can i post a link to a vid i just recorded? i couldnt but laugh and make a satiric vid for him but of course not saying that its about him and his knives. i dont know how it works with allowing to post my own vid links here.
