The (knife) chopper list....

Don't know if it qualifies as a chopper, but the Oberland01 model from Maciej Szczerbiak @ Crusader Forge/Trident knives might fit in your custom category.

What about Graymanknives? They have several chopping-style knives (Pounder Series, Kordofan).

Matt Lamey to the Custom Chopper list, his Combat Cleavers are AWESOME and an even bigger batch is coming out of his shop soon :D

Corresponding w/ Koyote after being so pleased w/ the Ultralight Hiker I received, he says he has some 9 to 11" long bladed knives in the works with enough tip bias to make an efficient chopper while still maintaining the control of a knife for finer camp work. Sorry, I believe his offerings are below your 3/16" stock criteria at 1/8" in L6 steel, but did you want a chopper or a 'heavy' choppper? Ya see, I lift weights on my power rack at home, but on the trail I try to take it easy on my ol' bones:D. Of what I have experianced so far, Christof's heat treat, steel selection and grind make for an efficient (less work) and tough tool. http://www.koyotemakesstuff.com/available.html

Don't know if they will be made again, but the SR Rat Mastiff has a 2" length advantage over the Chopweiler. I like them both.

I've seen a few beauties from J. Hossom I'd LOVE to own ...

He's not making a lot anymore, but when he does!!

EDIT: What about Dozier? I think his Elk Hunter has an 8" blade ...

EDIT2: Todd Begg!! You should see the BeggChopper or maybe the ClandestineBolo. Don't know why I forgot those.

I think Busses are more like customs, IMO.

Heres my HHFSH my main chopper, and then I have a FBMLE on its way.
