The Knife Life (Minor Topics and Random Stuff Thread)

Their needs to be an app like Ritter has for knife rights. I know whenever I go out of town or start work at a new city(I do residential remodeling, so I move around a lot) I always google the area for shops. I know they're still out their. About 45 min. from my house there is a shop with a pretty good selection of all the bigger and more generic knives like Benchmades and Bokers. That's an app I'd pay a buck or two for, and that sais a lot cause I'm cheap.
And thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll keep on the sand paper for a while just to get my angles more consistent, and then I might start piecing together a stone set.

Especially if it gave you notifications whenever you were within a mile of any store



The only knife shop in my area is a place called Advanced Cutlery at the mall. It has some decent stuff: whole case of benchmades, whole case of Kershaws and brokers, a few spydies, some ontario fixed blades, and even a really special case with sebenzas and some gold class BMs.
But I never go there to buy. Their prices are outrageous
 
OMG, the small sebs with cf inlays are back in stock at BladeHQ.....

Hopefully theyre still there by the time I get some money together. If so, I'm DEFINATELY a getting one for myself as a Christmas gift.

I guess I'll have to find something to GAW:thumbup:

Not sure what that'll be, but i think I might make it available only to people who have participated in this thread.... What do you guys think?:D

I did up another ZT801 today. Finally FINALLY free of all my anodizing jobs. Got pretty backed up for a second...

Yup! I think it will have its fair share of pocket time even after I pull the seb from under the tree;)

If there's one word to describe it, it would be SEXY

One thing I'll have to fix though is the lock bar tension. It's insane right now.....
But I'm just kinda scared of messing something up:(

I used to have an 801 with very similar anodizing, I loved it. Now Forrest owns it. Great job as usual Harris.

Congratulations! I can't wait to see your pictures of it posted up here in a few days. I have a Large 21 Insingo on my list to buy. I had a drop point Large 21 that never quite spoke to me, so onto my favorite blade shape :)
