The Knife you'll NEVER get rid of....

My Gerber Yari, Plain edge, original version.
It has been a wonderful knife and I have another one in the safe NIB just because.

Emerson CQC-7V Ferrrk'd by Phil. Thick liner lock configurartion. I have a Severtech Spartan that will not go anywhere as well.

Victorinox Soldier. My constant EDC since 2003. I'll carry this knife until it falls apart, and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

My swiss army knife.. the recruit model by victorinox. My dad gave it to me as my first knife. I will be keeping it forever. Also I am not going to make the mistake of getting rid of any sprint runs that I pick up. My Sprint Para 2 will be going nowhere. Nor my first seb that I have not yet acquired.

two knives, it looks like. I always thought my Benchmade 960 would be one of them but it departed this weekend.

#1 is the little CRKT Lightfoot that Samurai Dave bought me in thanks of me driving him around everywhere back in the day.

#2 appears to be my several month old MUDD folder. It's incredible.

I wish we could hear about situations where a knife was a major help in saving people's lives.

I cut a guy out of his seatbelt a year or so ago with my Gerber LST. He was trapped in there after a pretty nasty crash and, while I doubt his life was in any danger, he was injured and very uncomfortable and took me up on my offer to cut him out.

Today, I'd use something cooler like my Becker Necker or my KaBar Dozier Folding Hunter or something but the Gerber was sharp as all heck and worked just fine.

my first custom buck 110 I got from my dad on Christmas. I really love that knife and I will cherish it forever.

I'll never sell the knife my dad left to me in his will and my Kabar that I got when I enlisted in the army about 20 years ago. These will be passed on to my kids.

the knives i've recieved from family memebers:
Schrade Uncle Henry Trapper "Custom" from my mother
Vintage "The Ideal" 2 bladed slip-joint from my grandfather
and a Martinez Albainox Folder from my cousins in Spain

I have had a bunch of knives in the past that I thought i'd never get rid of and did anyway. Just a matter of personal attachment for me more than anything...monetary value can always be evened out, not sentimental value. I do think my Rajah II will be with me for quite some time.
