The Knife you'll NEVER get rid of....

Hmm, list of knives I wouldn't get rid of...

ZT0200- Present from wife

Case M3 Finn- Another present from my wife

Buck Alpha Dorado

Buck Vantage Pro

Case 6111 1/2 XX

Oh was this just supposed to be "one" knife? :D

Sometimes even the one we swear we would not let go of, has to go.:( I've had a few that I thought would be the last one's I would ever get rid of if it came to that. Unfortunately it did. A divorce attorney, at least a good one, is not cheap, so the knives had to go.

Now that that is 3 years in the past, and I'm well on my feet, I would say that the one knife I would keep, come hell or highwater, is my newest one, a John W Smith Extreme SD-3. Just something about the feel and heft of this knife simply endears itself to me.:)

This is the knife I am talking about in my first post;

A few: Custom graphic large Sebenza, DGG SNG, CQC7, ZT0300. They are all fantastic knives and I can't see why I'd part with them.

My Boker Applegate folding dagger. I love it and will never part with it. It may be the perfect design for me.

Hi Packohotdogs. I had one of those, but ended up trading it for something else. I regret it because it was an awesome folding dagger, one of the best I've seen!:)

This baby...

Apparently long discontinued, I had one of these when I was... well, a long time ago :D say about 37 years ago!

Recently, I managed to find one basically BNIB, on the Exchange, and snagged it immediately. That tortoise shell look is a classic, IMHO.

I believe this one's a keeper. I got rid of it once, but it found it's way back home...
(Benchmade Model 46 Balisong)

Probably my s60v blur. it is not worth what i paid for it now becuase it is a blem, but i like it and i learned to sharpen on it. the stonewashed finish is almost scratched off.

That's a hard one, i have so many. I'll try to post a pic (for the first time) of most of my collection. I would have to say my Buck/Strider/Tarani in G10 and my Benchmade CQC 7 are two that are hard to find now and I really like.

This would be one. Buck 119 special. It was the FIRST quality knife I ever purchased about 40 years ago. I used to spend a lot of time 4-wheelin, hiking and hanging out in the woods and this was always on my hip.

When I found bladeforums, I sent it in to replace the handle (had a few cracks from throwing it!). It came back looking SO nice I haven't used it since.

There are probably more but these are the first to come to mind.

Mine would probably be my buck 119 it's not some kind of super rare knife but it was my first fixed blade and a present from my grandparents.

I've got plenty of expensive traditional and tactical folders, but the knife I will never get rid of is the Barlow folder pocket knife (now available for around $5-$10) that my father gave me when I turned 8. I have kept this knife under lock and key since I can remember and it will stay with me until I pass it on to my own son when he comes of age. I also have a non-functional switch-blade that I found in my Grandfather's possesions when he passed which will also never leave my safe.

You know your title made me think about it. Looking back on my life there have been a lot of things I'd said I'd never get rid of that I later did. As you grow old sometimes your interests and circumstances change drastically.

Never say never. It happens. . .
