The Last Blade You'd Ever See Me Carry Is A.....

i cant say i wont carry a sebanza or strider because of price, while expensive and out of my league, i would definitely buy them if i had the means to. Like many have said, i wont carry anything made in china.

I sense some insecurity...

the knife itself more than makes up for the pink.
Btw, pink is only gay because you let society tell you. I have multiple, come take away my man card if you dare ;)
I agree.

Never have understood the fear some guys have of brightly colored knife handles. Pink gets the most cheap shots, even from female knife users.

If a woman carries a knife with black grips, does that make her less female? For the record, I've been carrying pink *and* black-handled knives, so I guess they cancel each other out.

As for the subject of this thread, with the exception of the one on the SwissTool RS, it'd probably be a knife with a serrated blade, if I can avoid it.

Pink is a womans color. It's always been, I'm not saying it's gay or you are gay for doing it...but you're certainly selling off your masculinity because some women like guys that immaculate themselves by wearing pink. Men need to act like men no?

Forgot to add dork ops, extrema ratio to my list. Also daltons....they aren't very appealing.

Karambit is a closed fist fighting knife (although recently other purposes have since been applied to it.) Usually they are held Commando Style (upside down) with the fore and (when present) little finger passing through the holes in the knife with retention and damage in mind. They have been around for a long time and some U.S. personnel traveling through the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia were exposed to them.

You would NOT want to be introduced to the effectiveness of a Karambit via a Jeet Kune Do specialist like Dan Insanto's people (although there are other Marshal Arts groups that practice with the weapon as well.) Their Kata are gruesomely effective! I would NOT choose to belittle these people or their choices, mainly because their discipline dedication and skills in this method are superb. (Dan Insanto did the superb knife work on Book of Eli with Denzel Washington.)

Currently they seem fond of the full tang all metal Combat Ready, Cold Steel, Hibben or United Karambits which they modify heavily for strike comfort.

Generally knife fighters are more common in areas where firearms are restricted, prohibitive or outright banned. In my neck of the woods such is not the case so we practice the Pistol and Defensive Shotgun, but are painfully aware that one day we just might be in the same boat as the street urchins in Manila and I'd rather not stumble through those times ignorant of their art. Could be unpleasant...

LMAO!! :D

I jumped on my Dad last Sunday at his 90th birthday party for wearing a hot pink short sleeve dress shirt. I asked him if he was wearing matching underpants too. Nobody thought it was funny but me and my brother.

The 90 year old man was thinking, "When was it, what year exactly, that I dropped these boys on their heads?"

And the man in the pink shirt on his 90th birthday said..."These two boys of mine and now this other yahoo! They want me to prove to them that I'm a man on my 90th birthday? I see three fellas I need to "immaculate". Get me my knife darling, the big one with the pink bone scales."

What is this? 2nd Grade?

I can tell I've struck a nerve with a pink shirt wearing sissy.....Look I'm not calling you gay and I don't think it's gay to sport pink but it's definitely not a "man" thing to do YOU KNOW THIS. Honestly YOU KNOW pink isn't a man's color.....Rock a black or red shirt or knife would it really kill you?

Men are turning into women these days....it sicken's me......

Meh sell your masculinity and be less of a man....that's all you.....

Sorry I'm not stooping down....Pink shirts, are worn and used by women or men trying to act like them. Same with knives. YOU KNOW the manufactures made them for women.....YOU KNOW IT....do you see an XM-18 in pink NOPE, an SMF NOPE because they are knives made for MEN.

Dude I'm not a "drama queen" I'm just a man refusing to act like a woman. Apparently you like acting like a woman, sorry I don't. Again my masculinity isn't for sale.

I like acting like a woman? Because I called into question your "pink is for girlz", BS? Give me a break. I cant say I've ever worn anything with pink in it, though I dont think it has ever come up...not something I dwell upon. I dont own a pink knife either. I guess Im not "man" enough to call someone else a "woman/sissy/etc" because they chose a color I didnt agree with...good thing you're here to keep all us menfolk in line.

:jerkit:

Sorry I'm not stooping down....

And its not pink, its SALMON! :D

So if you don't wear or use anything pink whats your point in arguing? Seriously PINK is a girls color no? It's on flowers the least manly thing out there......You know what I'm saying is true (because you don't support it or use it) but you still argue..? Why? :jerkit:

Some people just like to argue.....

My daughter loves pink. I think mostly I was commenting on a view I find childish. And no...my failure to own a pink knife/shirt is not a tacit endorsement of your stance.

This 90 year old man is sharp as a tack and loves this banter with his two sons who would be more than happy to drop certain big mouths on their heads. ;)

I always thought 'being a man' had something to do with your character... now that I know it is wardrobe related I'm going to have to rethink lots of things.... argh.
