I used my AFCK to split used cedar shingles to start a fire at our Vermont cabin, then switched to my Military 2 to cut down a bunch of cardboard to burn up.

Was at a data center yesterday. My trusty 21 opened boxes, cut zip ties, served as a pointy poker to help dislodge stuck optical modules (FSPs, for you networking nerds), and helped me reach a bolt that dropped and rolled under equipment.

And cut my sandwich in half for lunch.

Today I used my SAK Classic knife blade to lift the 4 tabs that hold down the crown on a kerosene lantern, while cleaning rust off the lantern. Yesterday I used my Caltone Scagel slip joint to trim off the excess new grip on a tennis racket handle. Just a bunch of somewhat little tasks that need some help.

I used my knives a good bit on my camping trip. I used that white handled, scandi ground Rapala to do most of the kitchen chores. Cut up potatoes, tomatoes, onions, steak, ribs, and other stuff in prepping the food. I used this little S35vn chisel ground Kabar for eating my dinners. Did a bit of whittling and cutting up cordage and other stuff with my folders as well. I was super surprised how well my that Rapala cut up tomatoes being that it's scandi ground and has had a very hard life as my primary fishing knife for a couple decades cleaning fish and being attached to my pants with a carabiner while wading in the water. I gave it just a few swipes on my little 4" slide out Worksharp ceramic rod that they released when they were first coming onto the scene, and it was cutting great.

This morning I opened the inner bag on a new box of Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries! Buck 110 might have been overkill but the last time I pulled the bag apart by hand, I ended up with blue marshmallow diamonds all over the kitchen.

I found that someone had tied two fire escape doors together with some rope and shut so they couldn't be used from the inside.

My SHF (L) went through it rather easily as I was quite angry about it. I tracked the individual that did it down.
