The Last Time You Used Your Knife

Still on the same vacation in Italy I used the bottle opener on the SAK to, you guessed it, open some beer bottles, used the pen blade to carve our initials into a bench on the Path of the Gods and I would've liked to carve a walking stick for my wife but didn't want to cut down a living tree and couldn't find suitable dead ones.

We're now at the end of our holiday, currently at the airport in Naples as I type this, our flight has been delayed by almost two hours and we're a bit bored :) also, I'm looking forward getting home so I can fondle my Spydies again. The SAK is a great pocket knife with a lot of useful features, but ... Well, do I really have to explain why I'm looking forward to handling my other knives again? XD

I don’t know if I’m More excited use my MT to open the box or what’s inside 😆
Just a follow up post I used it last night to sharpen a tradional at 25 degrees and oh man what a nice edge and I didn’t spend much time going through all the stones. Very sharp now even push cuts and makes clean S cuts in paper. Nice even symmetrical edge on both sides . Very happy with this budget friendly work sharp !
Poor pictures but you get the point

Today, I used a microtec bh to cut the tags off some clothes. Used a swiss champ to tighten a Phillips screw on my stair rail. Used a busse smachet to hack at a large branch on a downed tree. That was all today.

At work I’m using a knife many times a day, as an auto tech I open lots of parts boxes and bags, cut zip ties, strip wire, cut tape, hoses, plastic flashing, stray mustache hairs, cut things off my hands, rubber valve stems, lunch, clean nails, and fidget with.
