The LAWKS system (Lake and Walker Knife Safety system)

I've been wondering how long it take for him to get banned, I guess we won't get to hear his opinion anymore.

As for LAWKS, I had a CRKT m16 and so did someone else I know. I had the tanto and he had the spearpoint. The liner lock on them was bad both developed a problem with getting stuck which required a coin or screwdriver to unjam the liner lock so you can close the liner lock and disengage the LAWKS just to close the knife. I was not happy and consider the LAWKS a gimmick in CRKT knives, good idea but the liner lock alone in their knives are just poor quality and felt like it was put in as they knew their knives weren't safe. I take a quality made liner or frame lock any day over that setup.

If someone made a quality liner lock and than put in a redundant LAWKS system in place (assuming it was better quality than what CRKT did as well) than I wouldn't mind as long as it's good quality and executed properly.

I've never used LAWKS, and never plan to. I have 2 Ripples, liner lock works fine, no LAWKS needed.
