These ones are destined for a camping trip next weekend to celebrate my buddy hopefully passing an important test in his journey to become a commercial pilot and a USAF pilot. The test is Thursday, he only needs a 70% to pass, but he is aiming for above 90%. I told him if he gets below 90% then I'll smoke his cigar in front of him 🤣
 
Back on topic, if you disassemble the button lock Talos, be aware that the pivot is not pressed in like the Ti version and is free spinning. Took a little pressure on the blade tip to hold the pivot to get it tightened back down to where I wanted it.

Damn that sounds awesome! Nothing better than a guys trip. We had one going for almost 20 yrs that just recently finally fell apart. I miss it terribly.

From the ones you have on the picture I only handled morph and smooth . But let me tell u brother when I put smooth into my hand it feels so good I can’t explain it, feels better than morph for some reason. Look wise it’s a different story!

To my hand the best feeling one is actually the full DLC one, then the button lock. They really nailed it with those coatings! After that, yea, the smooth is fantastic!

Pick up the pieces and get as many of the gang together as will go! Us guys need a few days drinking and talking s*** once in a while to stay sane!

Well the last year which was 3 or 4 years ago, only 4 of us made it. And now everyone has kids at the age of playing year round sports so it’s just hard to even settle on a date. We’ll definitely kick it back up as the kids hopefully leave the basements! I hope to party hard again in my 50’s!!!

yes for sure VCEP button lock they nailed it, I have smooth and the action has blown my mind away, one day I will have with a coatings I hope that I will get woody .
