The Les George Knives Thread

I've never had one and I think they're kind of goofy looking so I've never understood the love for the spoon clip. Does it do something objectively better than the current stock clip? I got this RGT with a VECP I bought and I prefer it to stock both for aesthetics and feel in hand.

Yes, it can also be used as a spoon when needed!

My love for Les’s signature morph milling combined with my fondness for zirconium make this ESR a dream come true. It was a lottery piece at the 2013 Tactical Knife Invitational, and Les added a neat touch by engraving his signature on the clip.

Brother, your knives……….🤯!
I doubt that I’m alone in saying, “Amazing”. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I'm in for Day 7 Tanto Tuesday! On a side note, does anyone recognize the flame markings on my example? Les said he had no idea.
I think that was done by a guy who sharpened it for the person who owned it at the time. It was his “logo” and he engraved it into the knife. IIRC it caused quite a stir because he did it without asking.

This is so cool. Is that a one off, or has he signed other clips like that before?

Thanks for the backstory, it is a pretty decent sharpening job! But yea, don't laser me bro! At least unless I ask 😁

Thank you, I’m glad you like it. I’ve never seen another engraved clip from Les, so while there may be a few out there, I doubt there are many.

I actually didn’t realize it was signed when I bought it because the engraving can only be seen when the light hits it just right. I was planning to swap it for a Steel Flame clip, but once Les confirmed it was his signature, I was happy to leave it as it was.
