The Les George Knives Thread

I also like the new pouches. I got red with these little Christmas-y round and diamond shapes.

The new pouches are very nice, definitely feel more cushy and premium than the other ones. I also like the patch being sewn on. At first glance mine looks a bit like a patch of office carpet but it is very soft and plush both outside and in. Picture from the George Knives website, but I got this one:

"patch of office carpet" Almost sent coffee out the ol nostrils.

Obligatory photo 😎

Les knocked it out the park with these. Pattern is different enough on each side that I feel like it’s a different knife from show side to lock side. Arrived completely dialed in, sharp as hell and in the red pouch which makes it feel like Christmas. Thanks Les!

Got the same one. Thought exactly the same thing that it was like some carpet from the 80’s. Very soft and well made. He’s got someone making them locally in Mississippi.

That servo is tempting. That diamond milling looks great and like it would actually provide some grip. But that price scares me.
It's hand ground, so I get it, and it's a fair markup for hand ground on a Defiant 7, but it's a crowded couple weeks for big sales or releases and there's only so much money.

Without handing one of these Servos yet I’m going to say the Boys at D7 have probably done a fantastic job on the grind. I’m sure there was some good CQ before they left the shop.

That being said I’m struggling to pull the trigger on one. Knife money is getting tight after scoring on 2 of the previous day’s releases.

ETA: I did it! Gotta show some love for the D7 boys 😎
