The Les George Knives Thread

I would have done it in a heartbeat but I couldn't remember if that was one of the groups that frowns upon price-policing.

On the contrary most members and even the admins hate flippers. Though honestly I don’t know their policy on price policing. As Blues Blues knows, i just do it and find out the rules after I break em. 😂

I don't generally hand out warnings for it, except to those that have earned a comeuppance for other reasons, but my colleagues have handed them out more regularly. As a policy, it's best not to engage.

(Folks can ask what they want for a given knife...all you have to do is ignore them (and hope that they'll go haunt some other site.)

I was just referencing my many infractions till you straightened me out. 😂

I need to keep a bottle of that at the house. Your the only other person I know that enjoys it. Anytime someone has tried mine they think it’s terrible. Takes a real man to enjoy I suppose. 😉
Other than the QC, I have Laphroaig 10 and Lagavulin 16. I like them all, but the QC is my go-to when available...which around here is spotty.

Quarter Cask...sorry.

On another happy note, the Myna should be here by Wednesday afternoon. Looking forward to it.

Thanks, gonna have to try that one.

Looking forward to the review!

If you can find the "Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength", that's a really good one, but our ABC store isn't listing it currently.

Fed Ex finally showed up! Perfect centering, beautiful action, great detent, and one of the best factory edges I've ever received. I've been collecting knives for 20-ish years and this is the first damascus blade I've ever owned  As a side note, this is my third VECP and the first one that my preferred RGT clip doesn't fit...it interferes with the rear standoff screw on the clip side and doesn't tighten down all the way. Nothing I can't fix tomorrow at work as it is only a tiny bit of material that needs to come off the clip for it to sit flush.

I am glad it’s not regular sw , since this matches the contrast of the blade
