Yes it is, it`s all rusty, but it only cost $0.50, so I`m slowly working on it to clean it up.
 
You always find the best deals on axe and hatchet heads. That one looks to be in great shape!

I am enjoying it! I've always heard about the various steps involved in knife making, but seeing photos of the steel at various stages helps to put a face on the process. It'll really be interesting to compare the raw steel photos with the finished product!

That is a great family photo! How did you get them all to sit long enough for the picture? Tell that little one in the middle, that it better behave or it isn't going outside to play with the others..:D:D
 
I can`t get over how that Muscat fits my hand perfectly! Some day, very soon, in ironwood.....;)
