The Making Of...

Thanks for all the nice comments!!

This next photo is just plain uncalled for and shameless (and I apologize in advance..:D), but I just wanted to do something fun in honor of "Alice Cooper" being inducted into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" today. I'm not sure, but I think Alice is gonna use the pictured JK Knives in his stage show this year....:D

A classic! I remember actually meeting him years ago.

Riverwarrior claims my Muk is on its way to me, but I'm beginning to have my doubts. I swear if I open the box and there's a set of Ronco Showtime Knives inside - well, somebody's arse is gettin' whooped!

That's all I've got to say about that. :D

i was thinkin the rotisserie thing.. cuz im a piggy LOL  or some of that spray on hair in a can.. good lord knows i can use that :D

To be honest, I decided to keep your "Cab-N-Muk". But, I replaced it with the ultimate blade. Once you strap this piece of steel on your arm, you'll win every battle and will never again be defeated by fuzz sticks and twigs.....:p:D:D

There's nothing like a good practical EDC design. Make mine in 1/4" O1 with kydex hip sheath please. :D

Look what showed up today! I opened the box and found this Ronco Showtime Six-Star Cab-N-Muk!!! I think that might be Ron Popeil on the cover, too! :)

I absolutely love the feel of this knife! Riverwarrior did an outstanding job of designing the Muk! It's a nice handling light blade. I've tried several different grips and it's very comfortable in hand. I am beyond thrilled with this knife!

John, you did an awesome job! Your craftsmanship is amazing! I am proud to own my first JK blade! Very well done, sir! Thank you very much!

If it sounds like I'm happy, it's because I am! :D

Thak you! Make sure you check out my ad in that issue, it features outdoorsfan`s photo of the Pocketmuk.

Dang John. Last year I picked up ( 2 ) Jet 4 x 6 VH bandsaws in separate purchases off Craigslist. One was 100.00 and the other 65.00 and I bet I have cut hundreds of pounds of steel on the one I kept. Even added hydraulic down feed. One of those sure would make short work out of cutting those blades.

Hi MyAGunn -

Sweet! Nice picture - I look forward to seeing all you guys using these new knives this year.

I'll have my Knatchet out very soon - it will be my tool for clearing some vines up in my back yard.....

best regards -

Hi Riverwarrior -

Now you guys really have my curiosity piqued. Stormbringer? Biggest and baddest? .

best regards -

Mqqn,

The best way that I can describe the "StormBringer" is through the old Deep Purple song from 1974. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iybNvu4qr9E

In addition, after John finishes work on this beast, he will probably have to take the month of May and half of June off just to catch up on rest...I just hope he doesn't have to replace any equipment afterwards...:D:D

It looks a little different than what I am used to, but that design looks pretty cool.

I started on my Muscat this morning, I could not believe how good Riverwarrior`s felt in my hand!

Hi John -

It has an interesting look to it - it would be nice to see one in person at the gathering.

I left you a message on your phone today.

best regards -
