First post in the thread - I've got a couple items I'll hand out when I've got some time to get them together (probably this weekend).


But as for me.. I've been craving a hinderer xm18 3" so if anyone wants to pay one of those forward to me feel free to do so.

I understand it's a pretty big present though, so in return will send you a joke to your inbox every day for a month as well as PM you weekly nudes of myself preparing breakfast (while putting the xm18 to good use)

If the bike pedals are still available I would like them. I am trying to start riding my bike again some and those would be better than the clipless I have been riding on (without shoes). I don't remember who had them so I will have to go back and look it up and will edit this post.

I assume this is how this works; you ask for something you are interested in instead of sending an email? This is the first time I have seen the thread as I have been gone a while due to health. I know a little of what Cutter17 is going through though. I have had 3 blood diseases for 10 years now since I was 23. One that was in remission came back and I just spent a month in the hospital getting treatment. I have also been on pain meds for about 6 years now because of constant abdominal pain. I get tolerant and my dosage is increased every year or so and now I'm on enough to put down a water buffalo. It stinks but necessary as the pain would slowly drive anyone insane. I am really trying to start riding my bike again for some exercise so the pedals would come in handy if still available.

I will have to look around and find some stuff to give away. I know I have a lot of stuff I haven't used in a long time. I don't guess there is anyone that makes fireworks? Probably not as it is a somewhat obscure hobby of mine but I do have a lot of stuff for it. I will post some stuff up hopefully before the weekend.

Also, this wasn't trying to get sympathy. Just that there are other people out there going through similar things and we all have our problems. After 10 years talking about it is no big deal though I still get freaked out occasionally when at the Dr. I can say exercise and drinking a lot of water and eating healthy go a long ways to staying healthy. Sometimes we have bad luck but I would much rather exercise than be told I was going to die within a year at the age of 23 like I was.

Anyways, this is a pretty cool idea. Glad everyone can be honest enough for it to work out well. There are a lot of forums this wouldn't be possible. Take care everyone.

I have to say the knife has some great lines on it, but not quite what I am looking for, I have a few knives that would be more than up to the task that I want it for (I've been looking for one with more age and profiled similar to an old sharpfinger, even though my becker or a couple others would handle it just fine), and I would rather see a good knife like that go to someone who has (or knows) a youngster who could easily use it, I would claim it for that reason (as that is why it was put up), but the only youngsters I know have already been provided BB guns, pocket knives by me.

I have to say though, it is a great looking knife and deserves a good home where it will be used for a life time.

Not as bad as you, While in Viet Nam I was shot twice nearly died 3 times spent nearly a year in the hospital. And guess what a few years back they said oh you have PTSD. I take a bunch of pills, but I quit taking the sleeping pills cause they made me feel like crap when I was awake. So I just stay busy and awake until I crash. Once I am asleep I am ok it's just getting there that's hard some times. The wheels in my head won't stop turning. And I have to keep focused on something good or the buggy man shows up.

I feel your pain man, If I try and lay down before I just about pass out my head just goes crazy with thought until the point I feel like im going to have a panic attack. I had brain trauma overseas resulting in seizures. I spent 6 months in the hospital and they still didnt know what exactly was going on in my head. I was prescribed so many meds, and they didnt even help i kept having seizures, and my vision would go crazy with colors and stuff, plus the meds made me like a zombie, i could never remember anything and the doctors had me addicted to klonopin. A bad long lasting benzo, last way longer than zanax. it was prescribed for convulsions but it did nothing but zombie me out. During that time i was just horrible all around, finally I said damn this and went and seen a different type of neurologist. I stopped taking every single pill, for everything, I no longer take ANY PILLS what so ever, not even tylenol and i havent had a seizure or other major health issue in over 2 years. The other neurologists may of had less conventional, less approved by most methods but they worked and made my life 100 times better with no need for pills.

I still dont sleep, but that has nothing to do with my service connected injuries, I never slept much, since i was a little kid. I seen doctors even as a kid, went to sleep labs, tried all types of sleep pills and nothing. Most made me more awake, like ambien, ill never sleep taking ambien. But none worked. Some herbal teas do relax me a little, but not enough to sleep.
 
If anyone has an opinel 2, 4, or 10, Case Sodbuster CV, or Brown Mule they'd be willing to let free I'd love to try one out.

I have a Mora 2, Mercator K55K, and a Rough Rider Lock-back Canoe I could throw into the stream.
 
the mora 2 looks like a good one! I like the wood handles.
