I've paid it forward with a couple of nice folders that I'm not using.
I'm not talking these items in particular, but I hope we don't see of the nicer items back on the fs forums.

As promised, here is the Queen skinner. She ain't the prettiest girl at the ball but she's still fun to play with. LoL The story on this one is that I found it hidden in the top of the closet of a house we moved into when I was 14. The sheath had been cut up and I fixed it to the best of my abilities at the time. I carried this knife around the woods for a couple years before I got a "better" knife aka tacticool flea market survival knife. I want this one to go to someone who will actually use it. Hunting season is upon us and I know one of you guys needs a new skinner or maybe your Son/Daughter needs one this season?

If folks take a nice item from here and then sell it, shame on them for being tasteless. BUT, I hope nobody stops giving just because of that chance. Let the knowledge that you passed on a nice thing to someone be your reward.
For the gent who doesn't want to give unless he receives his wish list items, please understand the point of this thread. It's a giving, not trading. If you give up something, I promise you good Karma, and good fellow BF members, will assure that you receive nice items. Maybe your list of wants might not be offered, but something nice will find you. If you aren't interested in giving up your items, I would simply ask for you to edit the thread to remove the items you have until you're ready to offer them. If you want to trade, use the trade forum. Either way, no offense will be taken if you do, and hang around and get something, and then decide later to offer something.
Thanks for making me miss out on the fun overnight BTW!
Thanks man!!
Oh man if someone gets a gift to turn around and sell, thats would be such a shame. If someone gets a gift, that doesnt work out for them, (which does happen, all knives and gear aren't for everyone) But that item needs to be PAYED FORWARD, as it was payed forward to them.
If someone comes to this thread and starts poking with a stick, can we just ignore it and keep on keeping on like nothing happened? I like a good puttingintheirplace post too, but let's try to keep it out of here. I know the replies to these posts have been to help, but the stick pokers feed on it. I want to keep everyone wanting to post stuff to give here, and then hang around and feed off the positive energy here. Let's not let a few folks ruin it.
Exactly!!!!!!! Everything should be payed forward if it doesn't work out. I surely hope we don't see items for sale from this thread. To me it ruins the whole idea. If you don't like it, Pay it Forward!
OK, now another couple of goodies. These need to go in a pair, again due to shipping. My wife is, I suspect, starting to count boxes and their shipping cost, as I give more stuff away. (he gets how this is helping me and others, but we're tight on funds, and she brings all of them in the house. She also wishes a few these were sold to make us some extra cash, but she hasn't said anything. My wife is awesome)
No pic this time. Feeling to yucky to hassle with it right now. BUT, Gerber's web site has these on them if you want to see them.
I have a Lg and a Sm Gerber Bear Grylls Parang machete. The pair is up for grabs. Both are new, and the larger one was a recall replacement, so should be free of the handle defects. They are both unused, with the sheaths. I'll even throw in a Gerber BG Survival Ferro Rod, tested once.
Please feel free to put dibs on this setup and I'll do my bestest to ship it all today, along with the 4 packages from yesterday. Flu is kicking my arse!
