The most expensive Game Warden... ever?

These crazy bay prices are often manipulated by the sellers. They have multiple user accounts, then make bids jacking the price way high. Then when the auction is over, they second chance the highest of the "real" bidders and see if they will bite. The idea being they will think because the bidding got so high that the item is actually worth what it got bid to.

Once this is done a few times, the bay will ban those other accounts IP addresses but Im sure they have some way around that too.
 
I popped over there and looked at it. It is a decent warden. The polished convex edge will help it cut. The sheath is a nice sheath, with good attachment options. It is a $300 knife, tops. I severely doubt that that sale will go through at that price. Though, occasionally crazy things happen over there. If I remember correctly, that particular seller typically gets higher than normal prices on a lot of his stuff. He puts together a decent package in one place. Good knife, Good sheath, and often a few options to go with it, like a survival kit etc.

Still scratching my head on that one. I had some one pm me about selling my warden, that was not posted for sale. He asked me what I wanted for it. I should have said $700 bucks. After all, it has a convexed edge, and glow dots in the first two tube holes.......that is highly custom. 200 for the knife, 20 for the home made sheath with tech lock, 100 for the hand convex edge, and . That leaves $380 for the custom glow dots! (or possibly 300 for the custom glow dots, and 80 for the dirty orange lanyard).

The hammered finish on my GW is a bit more subdued than on my Drunken Duty, but it's still very cool and I hope to see more of this type of finish from the Custom Shop on other Busse CS knives in the future. :thumbup::thumbup:

That hammered GW is my favorite GW so far. I also think that that drunken AD is my favorite AD now!

$20 for the glow dots, $10 for the lanyard... & $350 for the original highly functional artistic creativity!!! (Or, in Busse lingo: "OHFAC") :D:thumbup:

WOW, its up to $710 now. Maybe some single guy got his income tax return back. You certainly dont think he is married and getting away with that.....
