If I were judge and jury, then I’d be a moderator. Are you now telling me I’m not allowed to express my opinion?
Absolutely not man, please keep on with the negativity and your judge and jury assumptions all you want on someone’s thread who is trying to have fun and appreciate a knife they enjoy. Like I said, every party has a pooper. Ever seen Debbie Downer? Come on man, loosen up, have fun, it’s a knife forum. We aren’t arguing politics here.

Again, if I were “judge and jury” then my decisions would impact the existence of the thread. They don’t.

Clip point or spear point tho?
Having recently receiving all three blade styles, it's really hard to pick. I very slightly prefer the clip point aesthetic and overall usefulness. The tanto blade is the longest of the 3, out of my examples, and I like it 2nd best. The tanto also has the slimmest profile when closed. For me, the spear point looks great but clashes slightly with the shape of the handle. Really, they're all great.

Great, so will you now move on to complain somewhere else? I was told when I was 9 that I complained too much by some of my friends and it was a real wake up call for me.

This thread reminded me I needed to buy more Old Steel items as GSM will probably fade them out. Just bought a gun stock war club after I noticed they are sold out all of a sudden on certain sites.

I love that some of their knives have the option of all three blades. When I got mine, I went for the tanto, in part because at that time I didn't have any other tanto blades and thought I should have at least one. I don't regret the decision at all.
Sweet deep carry clip too!

I feel a late night impulse buy coming on!
GSM: "Look at these sales figure! We knocked it out of the park at Shot Show!"

Cold Steel employee: "It's all old stock they're buying. They don't want your new stuff."

GSM: "You're fired!"

"Well that's the last of us."

No one said you can’t appreciate whatever you want. Dude makes a thread every week talking about how X Cold Steel knife is the best in Y category. I think in one thread he mentioned the AD10 being the best knife money can buy like 10 times. There’s discussing knives, then there’s shilling.

Yup, see my post right above this one.

You know, it's interesting that people say try this or try that, and I have more knives than probably anyone in the world. But, I still keep coming back to my Cold Steels every single time. I have knives that sell for over a thousand dollars, and it just doesn't matter. This week I've been carrying my Cold Steel Code 4, and I don't even know it's in my pocket it's so light. When I'm cutting with it, I don't even have to worry about the lock because everyone knows Cold Steel has the best locks in the business. The Code 4 is razor sharp upon arrival, perfectly capable of not only the small EDC tasks that people do every day, but it is also quite capable of heavy duty tasks. I've put this thing through hell and back, and it just doesn't give a damn. Versatility, durability, tough as nails and sharp as a razor...

Now that's what I want out of an every day carry knife.

Everything aside, let's just say:

1, I've never heard of this knife before, which means it doesn't get much press anywhere. However it's been in production 2013 - now, which means it sold a lot.
So, in a way, I guess we can say it's "underrated"?

2, At over 4 oz it won't be "so light you won't know it's in your pocket". Benchmade Bugouts are sub 2 oz, THAT is so light you won't know it's in your pocket.
Still, I'm a bit surprised they managed to do 4 oz (equal to Benchmade Freek) w/ metal handles.

3, An s35vn hollow grind will not be "durable and tough". There're plenty of M4 and Cru-Wear folders out there, which will be significantly more durable and tougher.
It does sound like a promising cutter, though.
