I bought it new in late 1998 IIRC and it hasn't given me a single problem after thousands of miles. I've jumped it like a bmx bike, rode trails, rode it to work. 13 years and counting you could say it's like a good friend.

I love all the new bikes that are out there and especially look at the full suspension Mtn bikes but I've yet to ride a bike that feels and fits like this Kona.

I have had a few Konas fine bikes with a great warranty.

I wish I could afford another bike but this might be my one and only. I do switch out the tires on occasion for various riding. I've been tempted to upgrade a few things like the crank, wheels and forks/shock but I'm not sure I'd even notice an improvement.
