The New 2014 BladeForums KNIFE Thread!

I'm still digging the GEC 2-blade clip + pen.

So when will there be an actual poll up where we can start voting?

Thanks for the compliments folks! And thank you Charlie for including the knife (and being so patient!). Win or lose I'm glad I was able to make a contribution, and grateful to Wally for going along with it.

Eric

I'd go for your knife in a heartbeat with 2 blades in it, Eric. Gorgeous work.

You are welcome Eric. I have one more consult to do with Canal Street (Wally), then we should be good to go.
Bill has confirmed nothing has changed for GEC.
I missed Wally this afternoon. Darn time zones!

Once again, thanks for all the hard work, guys.

I'm curious to see how this will shake out in the polls. I lean toward having two blades, since that is in my mind one of the advantages of being a traditional pocketknife. Clip main with coping secondary would make a nice whittling knife......... But I'm still in if the majority wants a single.

The single blade jack offering by CSC looks nice. Any idea on what the steel choices would be?

Curiouser and curiouser!
So I thought we'd be getting better pictures! We are, but we are also getting another choice of knives. Eric (EA42 on the forums) actually built a prototype, a 3 3/8" Jack. He apologizes for the "white" showing on the Stag, saying it was the only bit in the factory he had to work with. More info to follow.

I have grown immune to Monkey Wrenches!

Wow a lot happened while I was away. Best choice for me. Thanks for all the efforts put into this process.
Mike

I think the new Canal Street prototype would get my vote, it's keeping me from spending money on the exchange right now.
