The new BladeForums.com STORE!

Oh Yeah Mike,
I forgot to mention micro-size fasteners (torx, shcs, etc). You know, the impossible to find miniture fasteners we all have on our knives.
Tha calendar is also a great idea. Spark in a tutu, Mike naked, me with the satanic goat head, bald1's dome.......that's got to sell.
Bill

Frank,

I like your idea of special edition knives on a limited basis. And coming from a retailer, I've got to applaud the spirit in which you offered that suggestion

!

Bill McW,

Okay... I can see it now...the Rogues Gallery first goes public in a calendar?!?!? Naaaaaaahhhhhhh.... I'm with Walt. If Spark has a tutu, he ought to burn it

Knife making supplys. It looks like there are a lot of part time knife maker on this site so supplys would be good.

I think that the most used logoed item for me would be a Bladeforums.com travel mug...You know, the kind with the plastic top with a hole in it to let you sip your java on the morning commute, and to let the world in on your edged metal obsession. Oh, and maybe Bladeforums.com embossed bandages and butterfly closures (kidding

)...

Sincerely,
Nick B.

Maybe, a watch, if done well...nothing fancy.

Echo a couple of Franks comments,

Quality hats.

Pick a knife, run a survey...

I like the idea of a bumper-sticker. Here's a slogan for it..."Without knives, you'd still be eating leaves from the trees." There I go again! Posting after a party.

Knife parts & accessories would really do it for me .Also special Knives from different companies great idea.

Definitely display cases. I'm in the process of designing/building my own because I haven't been able to find anything that meets my needs. I'd like to be able to buy a wall mounted case, maybe 24"x36", about 4" deep, with sliding glass doors. The backing should be cork (with the knives resting on pins), or, for larger, heavier knives, pegboard. I've seen cases simillar to this forsale, but they have a foam backing that holds the knives in place by putting presure on the knife against the glass, definitely can't open this type of case to examine or show a knife if it's mounted on a wall (in vertical position).

Also, a BladeForums calander would be pretty cool. Maybe each month will feature a pretty girl holding/using a knife (make that an auto knife!, hmm..., multiple calanders each with a specific theme?). I'd like to sign up now to be on the judging committee (for the auto knife calander).

Bill

Hey you old, tutu wearing, Bald, Metallica listening, goat sacrificing geezers (

), I want pictures of KNIVES, not yer ugly mugs. I want to see pictures of things I want, or pretty things, so my day can be brighteden up a little bit. The last thing I need is a constant reminder of whats gonna happen to me as I get older.....Hell, I already listen to Metallica so I don't think time is going to be the kindest to me......... Somebody got a goat I can "borrow"?

What we need our bumperstickers with something really cool wirtten on it. Like "Your knife loves you. But everyone else thinks your an Ass Hole" and "I brake for knives"

It should also carry stuff like Knife Kits.

Sincerely,
Adam

Mike,
I've really been thinking about stuff we need and that are nuisance sales for dealers.
How about replacement springs for those non-manual folders out there ?
Bill

How about leather strops and past.
Knife (socks)
Buy out quality closeouts or (seconds)
900+ grit paper.

Bill

a bladeforums.com mouse pad would be a good idea.
also some polo shirts with the bladeforums.com logo would be nice.

If there were to be a bladeforums.com, I would check to see if you could collaborate with 3M and produce a BFC PMS (Precise Mousing Surface).. these things are to regular mouse pads as sebenzas are to KSOs. Here's a link; get one asap!

Get one!

Mike,

I've got to agree with Bill's suggestion. A source for coil springs for non-manual folders

would be great.

How about a Bladeforums Spyderco Q? I have no doubt that Sal would make the arrangements for us, and it'd give me an excuse to get a knife I've been pondering over for the last year.

A lot of great ideas (except Spark in a tutu)!

I really like the knife-a-day desk calendar and polos/t-shirts.

Knife making supplies would really help me. A good variety with how-to info that I can download.

Zipper cases for multiple knife storage...All these are great ideas!

OK, I'm getting a little redundant here.

Make it happen, Mike!

Tony
