Here it is; just being released in Orlando at the SHOT Show, as we speak.

My guess was right!! It is similar to something they made awhile back, really stunning! Can't remember the designation but this is also a one piece fixed blade.:thumbup:
 
it looks a little like the Dana design, the only other pic I have thats close is this knife but, I do not no the name

This knife is perfect for hunting and working with birds, fish and small game. 3.5" S30V Stonewash finish blade. Cocobolo handles provide good purchase to the 3rd and 4th fingers while the machined "gills" offer a non-slip grip. "KUBILI" (Zulu word for double) serrations on both sides of the blade (3 on the front and 2 on the back) are angled for maximum efficiency for cutting fibrous materials or disjointing birds or small game.
A hidden pin otowards the tip of the handle holds the wood securly while double-sided VHB™ tape prevents moisture from getting under the wood. The natural leather sheath is customs made for Chris Reeve Knives by Gfeller Casemakers, Meridian, ID.

That looks very nice. I wonder if they offer a version without the serrations...


I had heard that a new knife was on it's way from CRK but that it was a folder. Does anyone know if this is the only new knife or if they have something else waiting to be unveiled?
 
That looks awesome, sleek and sexy :D

I wish it was A2 instead of s30v though. Nothing wrong with s30v, but I prefer high-carbon/tool steels for fixed blades.
 
Yawn.... Glad I did not pre-order. Maybe next they will release a tooth pick.

As an avid upland bird hunter. I personally use shears to clean most of my birds. I would love for CRK to produce a nice pair of game shears!
 
Not my cup of tea as I also believe that fixed blades should be tool steel softly hardened and it is way too small for a fixed blade...but it looks pretty and is indeed affordable.
