The new Mora 2010 model, pictures.

I don't know if I should wait for ragweedforge to stock it first or just grab it off ebay...

Contact Charlotte directly (I think someone posted her email earlier in the thread). She's good people, super easy to deal with, and has great prices. I picked up my Allaround from her, and shipping was super-cheap (I think it was $1.48 first class).
I'm on the fence with the 2010, though. I love the handle (I have the 911), but not liking the shorter blade compared to the 2000. Think the 2000 might go on closeout somewhere? Are they discontinuing it?

contacted, thanks.

I don't think they'll replace the 2000, probably just adding the 2010 to the lineup.

I wonder if the full production model of the 2010 will have a lanyard hole like those?

Hopefully they wont discontinue the 2000. I really like it. The 2010 looks ok, but I don't like how the blade is shorter. I did a google search on the 2010 and saw some european forums saying the 2010 was a limited production item. I don't know how true that is.

I'm so close to ordering this knife...I like the handles and blade shape, but I think carbon steel version would be great..

If/when Ragnar gets 'em in I'm going for one! I like the looks of it a lot better than the 2k. Though I certainly don't mind the original, I didn't like it enough to pony up the $30 for it when I have so many other knives (including other Moras!) on my wish list. :)

Got the 2010 in today and it's great! It's my 1st Mora so I can't really compare to anything but its very comfortable in the hand and a nice blade length. The sheath isn't too bad as it fits pretty well and has a drainage hole. Of course its very sharp and did excellent at some quick fuzzies.
Here's a quick pic. Review of the DP Mountaineer to come!

I have had enough "Change". I finally got used to my green Mora 2000, and now they want $10 more for a smaller one that is even uglier? No, thanks.

Got mine in the mail today. I took one look at the photos and ordered one. If you're going to have a mora, this is the one.

I would like a lefty sheath and a lanyard hole. Other than that, the finish, balance, and grip is just great. Like any mora, it is not a prybar, but it will do food prep, get a fire started, and build a shelter.

don't be afraid to ask from Charlotte, shes awesome at getting the knives out fast!

Good to know! I had never really heard of her before, save for the odd name drop, so I'll have to give her a look!

As someone else mentioned from what I have been able to find out the 2010 is exactly the same blade as the 2000 just sank further into the handle, this should make it even stronger !!!!

I also read that the strange grind at the front of the blade was for spreading Pate' ????

Just noticed Ragweed forge has the Mora 2000 blade blanks for sale!
So for those who don't like the green handle you can handle the blade blank version in the color and material of your choice.

Thanks, this is the one I was looking for !

Did anyone ever reveal what the tang looks like?

I like the handle on the M2K better. From appearances, it would seem to be more comfortable and versatile during use.

dont care for that handle on the 2010 its like the 911,i like the 711 handle better
