I got the 30* RevX 6', Wide (sometimes side sleeper and toss&turner), olive out black in. Almost went with another oz overfill to take it to 30%, but ultimately decided not to. The 30* standard should take me down to 25 or thereabouts already since I'm a warm sleeper, and I can most likely push it down into the teens since I'll supplement with clothing insulation if needed. I decided to cut a little weight and just stick to the standard overfill since most of my trips even into winter in the Bay Area are relatively mild, rarely getting much below freezing. And Tim's improved Karo baffles don't have shift problems anymore. If camping in the Sierra or something in the dead of winter, I may bring my 25* bag to ensure draft elimination.
If I had a money tree, I'd have bought the 20* or 0* Rev and a 40* Rev so I could pick one for either warm or cold weather and have lighter quilts to boot. Hell, I'd even consider the Epiphany, though I don't think I'm ready for vapor barrier techniques yet. 30* is a good compromise for my typical trips so far (and I like that it's more of a clothing+sleep system anyway for this warm sleeper), and the cosmetic seconds 30d of the RevX is more affordable while being a little more durable for the long haul. If you get the 20* Rev, let me know how you like it!
Re: pack. Yeah, I'm coming from a Talon 44. I researched the past few months or half a year and the Exos 58 was up there on the list. I ultimately decided to try the Circuit as the Exos line just didn't seem to work for me in person. There's a place near me in Santa Cruz that sells ULA packs, and ideally I would have gone down there to try it on before ordering, but I thought it worth the risk since it seems to have a pretty broad user-base and it should be easy to flip on BPL or something if it doesn't work out. So far, I don't think it's going anywhere; initial impressions are really, really, good. Just have to hit the trail with it for the real test. Playing with it at home, it already feels like a great match.
ETA: Oh yeah, I've also got a Zpacks drybag pack liner in 1oz cuben coming. It's crafted to fit perfectly in the Circuit, and it should protect my stuff from wetness well, even if I don't decide to add more insurance with smaller cuben drybags just for my quilt and insulating clothing.
