How ya doin Murph? I just got home for work a bit ago and a storm rolled in right after I walked in the door. Its comin down pretty good out there which is good, because we really needed some rain. I'm off tonight and tomorrow night, so I believe I might enjoy a few adult beverages today. I have stuff to do outside, but its supposed to be pretty hot and muggy out again, so that can wait til next week. I might even try to sneak a little fishing in today.

Pretty good so far, got a couple important calls to deal with today plus a meet up with our very own Mistwalker later. Good luck with the fishing!

I haven't paid for a haircut in a couple decades. Every few years I have it all chopped off and donate to one of those places that makes wigs for cancer patients and stuff, so they don't charge me. In the meantime I just leave it long.

Yup, I'm a 42-yr-old man with a beer gut and a ponytail. :o

What, no ear ring?

I enjoyed all the haircut stories! Things like a good barber, good bartender, good machine shop are what is most important in life.. right behind your enemies being driven before you and hearing the lamentations of the women, of course. I had hair to my waste at one point in my life and I regret not giving it to locks of love or one of those places.. I ended up dreading it and had multi colored dreadlocks until I shaved the whole mess off and trashed it.

'sup 'heads?

Back from a couple days inland. Paddled my parents' new CF/Kevlar canoe. SWEET.

James I'm in the same boat as you although I don't let my hair quite cover my ears completely before I cut it.. although we're in the same age bracket, hippie death, ear-ring wearing, spandex baring, big-hair-band-era... :)

since I cut my long hair in '98 I never let it grow back, nor replaced the ear ring...

Happy Thirstday, you lunatics.

I took it out for a job interview 15 years ago, got the job and forgot to ever put it back in.

I realize that sounds rather odd if taken out of context...

Considering where Guyon keeps his car keys, it doesn't sound that odd at all. For this place...

Have you ever been to Pueblo? Nothing about this place equals "win". Except maybe a good slopper.

Pueblo.... I cant say that I have....

But you have these laws... they are just awesome.... And let people be free to decide for themselves what they want to do instead of being led like sheep to slaughter. One of the only 2 states so far that has any sense at all.

Until MJ starts killing even a tenth of the people alcohol or tobacco kills every year I will enjoy it as often as possible. The country wants us to get cancer, but CO knows better!!! Im not sure if you noticed the commercial I posted about marijuana is safer than beer, so act like it.. but that commercial came from colorado, based completely off facts alone, and helped get the laws to the point they are at now.

After my injury overseas I was on several seizure medications, anxiety medications, was prescribed pain meds, muscle relaxants, sleep aids, and anti-inflammatory pills. I felt like a zombie, had seizures every couple weeks and could never remember ANYTHING. The VA had me so hooked on klonopin and xanax, I was blacked out for weeks.

Then I went and seen this doctor.... I wont say where or when but this doctor opened a door for me, He showed me real studies for MJ helping, even reversing epilepsy. He showed me how it helped inflammation, I knew it helped for pain, but he explained WHY. He quite possibly saved my life, at very least he made the quality of my life so much better than it was on 20 pills a day!

I tossed ALL my medications in the trash. That was over 2 years ago and i havent had a SINGLE seizure since. I put that on everything I love. My VA neurologist says im lucky, and still recommends I take the pills LMAO, I said you mean those pills that MAKE me have seizures? yea you can keep em!

I found 5 acres in colarado in the middle of nowhere, Im not sure you could even get power out there LMAO, but 5 acres was only 2000 bucks!!! I might get something like that in the future just to get an address in CO.

I never wore spandex or teased my hair, but I did play guitar in a couple bar bands. :p We were more into metal and punk than glam.

Heh!

There is iron in your words of life. Only problem with that is, 95% of the people I knew who used weed also smoked cigs like fish and drank like chimneys. I blame it on the rock'n'roll. :D
