I like the look of some of the Tops knives. I'm not going to buy them (I don't think), but they look ok. Some are like you say, fantasy knives.

Yep. When he used to spam the forum with his babble, it was pretty obvious to me what kind of person he was/is.
In other news, I got laid off today. Go back in a couple weeks.
Not sure what I am going to do in the meantime.

I got my new hammock in already...... This company is AWESOME. They overnight shipped it at their expense and payed for me to return the damaged one... And they also sent me a $50.00 Wine voucher to an online wine store. But this store, just so happens, dont ship to my state.
I guess you still have to pay 10 bucks for shipping. And the order must be for 51.00 in order to use the voucher but that still means you get 50 bucks of wine for 11 bucks.
If anyone here drinks wine and is interested in this voucher, since they wont ship to me, post a picture of a bottle of wine with a becker, and let me know what state you are in so i can make sure they ship there and i will send it to you so you can get the savings. Its only valid for 30 days so if someone else could use this id rather it wasnt wasted.

It's nice to see that there are still companies that know what customer service is.
Any one have any experience with the IluminAid solar bag lights. My dad brought one down recently and it looked like a heck of a deal for $20. The thing stayed lit for almost a day and a half on the low setting. Not sure about long term durability though.

I agree, a really nice lady also called me up and apologized for the inconvenience. They make it personal and really care that your happy...... Im really happy LOL. It was a small problem but they treated it like top priority and made it more than all better. Pretty damn awesome if you ask me.

Morning all... hopefully today will be the end of 2 weeks of Mondays for me... It has been a hell of a couple weeks (or 6 months depending on how I look at it), but hopefully they are going to hire some help for me next week.. possibly / hopefully a friend of mine, but either way I am looking forward to some relief.

Uh, I don't even GO to PA.
Or NY (esp NYC), Maryland, Taxachussetts, Nuevo Joisy, Kalifornia. heck, I keep hoping Kabar will move to Texas. Kabars/Beckers and an occasional Ontario are the only things I buy from NY. I had an opportunity to go visit the company that bought the company I work with and I declined to go because I woulda had to go to NYC.
I even quit buying Pace Picante sauce after Campbell's Soup (NJ company) bought it. I met the Pace people back when it was based in San Antonio and they were good people. They would use their "down time" to make sauces/salsas/etc for several "boutique" lines from the SA area and when Campbell's bought Pace, they stopped doing that and put several businesses in SA out of business.

Can't mail wine into TN, or I'd be on that like white on rice. I think I'm a bad influence on my poor wife... she's been drinking nearly an entire bottle of wine almost every week lately... what a rebel!
. She's never been a huge drinker. In fact she was shocked when I told her the standard bottle of wine is that size because long ago the French decided that was the right serving size for an adult male to have with dinner. "Good grief, no wonder they haven't won a war in centuries!" she exclaimed.
