Catching up, and responding to no one in particular and everyone in general:
Sorry, I'm afraid I started the PMS rants with my spouting about Tanner. It just really irked me and seemed to be in poor taste.

I use Facebook for keeping up with friends overseas(cheapest/easiest way, but not only way) keeping up with "family" (people that aren't blood but are closer than) for random food posts (ya'll who are "friends" know what I mean), getting discounts/free ish, and work. I keep contact with several clients through facebook cause it's a good reminder of who is available.

Also, I had my job interview today, I didn't get the pay I was asking but I did get the job. I'm not TOO upset about not getting the pay I requested cause I did ask for $30/hr. They don't pay as much mileage as I requested either, however they have a different way of measuring mileage so it works out I'll be making more off it. Apparently today was "just a formality" as I had the job "as soon as they hung up the phone with me" which I am happy with!

Biscuit, I'm sure you can just go heft that li'l sapling out of the way! You been working out I thought!

Trade, You lucky SOB! My brother keeps telling me about Bull Shoals as it is "one of the premiere fishing spots in Missouri" although I think technically it's also in Arkansas... I dunno. While you're down there stop by the "unmentionable"'s house and get people's knives back! :D

Zulu, that looks pretty nice! But yeah too "mall ninja" for me!
 
As far as FB goes I keep in touch with a lot of people and I'm not going to make 100+ phone calls a month. I've culled my friends list down many times and I only keep people on there that I actually care about and care about me. It's also good for hosting photos. Take a pic with my phone, share it to FB and then I can share it on the forums.
 
Haven't been here in a while. I have no idea what most of you are talking about but I use Facebook, tend not to type in all caps out of politeness and have never encountered a snake in the wild, Hawaii having none (mostly) running about unattended.

I mainly use FB to gawk at 710's stuff. That is pretty much it.

Internet's is out at the house using the tapatalk. Got some pictures to post here and there when it gets back up. Went for a walk with the family today after work through a Forrest by my house. Fun little outing, really bad mosquitoes.
 
thanks, c'bear...funny, it will be bought by a mom for his teenager son who seems to be obsessed with bud k stuff...but I do like the handle, I might do another version with a different blade.
 
Cut off the cable TV monday, just hooked up netflix and I already have amazon prime.. so far the best part is the $150 a month savings we are getting.

in other - and more important news, I think we have a new family member.
Local rescue loaned him to us for a weekend test drive.
so far he lays around, drools, and pants a lot -- just like the other 2 dogs, so I think he'll fit in fine.

about 75#, about a year or so old, and no idea what the mix is.

Great lookin dog, had one for 14 years that looked amost exactly like him, or her, whatever it is. I gaurantee you one thing, that dog has a lot of chow chow in it, the short muzzle, thick lion like coat, and blue tounge. Theres no dought, very loyal, mostly one person dogs, smart, but not a overly social dog, watch it around small kids, and ours didnt get along with other animals.

Looks like he has some Chow in him for sure.
