Damn that's cheap! Its $3.899/gal here. All this oil we have here and we are paying more for diesel.

You guys think you know what expensive gas is :P We're a Country that produces raw oil and sells it all to you for processing, we then get it back and have to pay for all the taxes and fees associated with doing so. I'm sure our European brothers / sisters will even say what we are paying up north here is nothing...

If you average out our latest fuel price and convert it to US gallons.... we are paying somewhere between $5.57 - $5.75 per gallon for 85 octane. You want premium gas get ready to shell out almost $6.8 - $7.1 a gallon.

After a few close calls over the years, I finally lost a BK14 to the river yesterday.

My condolences for your loss! Next time I'm out I'll offer a little of me drink to the dead as they now have a new BK14.

Time to get a new one!

I rode through some of those storms last night at least there was no hail.

Sitting here at work, I am realizing, muzak sucks. Like really sucks. Who decided it's a good idea to pump muzak into a hospital?!? It will make them want to die, not live.

My son Jared turns 10 years old today,...... Hard to believe. Didnt know what I was going to get him, just 3 days ago, guess what he tells me, he says "Dad, for my Birthday, I want you to teach me how to use your tools and you and I make a minibike". The day after that I found a 5 hp briggs and stratton a metal supplier of mine had that runs perfect for $50. Bucks. Thats fate says you. Well it gets better. Years ago before the kids where born, I used to fool with motorcycles and old cars, I handmade a few cool minibikes too. Still had a old frame, front end I made. Got them out of the attic and Jared and I started piecing things together to get some ideas and a game plan together. granted, I told him it would probably be a winter project, but hopefully we can have him zooming around the neighborhood next summer. This one got a disk brake from a mountain bike on it. Probably gonna strech the frame and the backbone about 9in. But I think this will be a cool father son project for us, and it will all be handmade.

that's awesome, man.. the smile on his face says it all..

Regular gas out here is 3.40/gal. Chicago is looking like 4.25/ gal which is actually higher than New York... If THAT makes any sense.

I filled up yesterday and it was $3.26 a gal for regular unleaded.

Lol sure did washed my clothes at the same time.

I used to work in a chemical plant making dry laundry detergent, car wash soap and other fun stuff like that. Didn't have to buy soap the whole time I worked there... just throw some dirty work clothes in with the rest of my laundry and blammo, plenty suds. Sucked walking home in the rain, though...

I feel for you guys re:gas prices. When we moved back down here Ang had her choice between two job offers... she picked the one with a little less salary, but with a company car/fuel card/maintenance plan/roadside assistance/insurance and a very generous amount of "personal mileage". The car is honestly not all that great... Ford Focus... but it goes and it stops when you want it to, and screw it... it's paid for :p

In an attempt to not to offend anybody, muzak offends everybody.

Funny how that works, isn't it? I don't think I know anyone who actually likes it

Yep id take a paid off car with free gas over paying gas on anything else.

Man..... Is the weekend really over???

Pure sweetness there Psy. Love that Tackett stuff. How many people bought it?
