WW, car maintenance sucks but is necessary. Hope the Yuma sells if it helps you out. If it goes a few days and you have trouble moving it. Put it on my subforum. May or may not help. Ive had a few emails asking about them.

I have no duplicate knives in any brands. I have a 14 and a 24, thats the closest to duplicates i own.

I have several swamp rats that are gone for sheaths right now, one of them would have been sold before the Yuma if it were here, but im not sure exactly how long they will be gone and i want to get this taken care of without going into our savings to move.

Just poking fun WW, Hope I didnt rub you the wrong way. Having to sell something to cover expenses sucks HARD, but I have had to do it too. Hope it gets better man.

Got in from what I'm calling work today. My boy and I got a chance to work on his minibike we are making from scratch, lol, seems the old frame I made years ago, he has already outgrown. He also decided he didnt like the minibike tire in the back, he wanted to run a bigger tire so it looked more like a small motorcycle instead of a minibike with a chooper front end. What can I say, he's got his old mans hard to please eye., So, to fit the engine, we streched the downtube 6in. And gonna stretch the backbone and the frame 9in. The seat pan will all be cut out and raised and the new back wheel will be moved forward to look like a real bike. Fortunately, the minibike hub with the sproket and brake will work on the new back wheel with about 5mins worth of lathe work. Hell, who knows, maybe I will ride this thing. Hoping to get the frame functional soon.

Awesome!!!!

Doc

Sweet bike, Jared & Todd!

Hows it going Snarkelonies? I had a nice relaxing evening honing my BK10 and trying to breathe some life into some neglected Old Hickory blades. It also appeared that we had a small tornado bouncing around Indy today. One spot it hit was just across the interstate from the office building. Fun stuff.

For those that liked the monkey typewriter thing; Netflix has a movie called "After the Dark" that was really cool if you stop to think about the scenarios they present. I only watched half of it but the half I did watch was pretty interesting.

Todd, it is really cool that you are able to do something like that with your son. That's the kind of stuff he will remember the rest of his life.

revival of my personal 100% Hiker with new properly-contoured G10 scales. Been meaning to do this for two or three years now, finally dug up the stones to attempt removing the old scales:

Just saw this on the other forum. Really sweet looking blade man.

That is dang nice looking, daizee. What is the middle pin? Corby, Loveless, other? My knowledge of those things is not exactly encyclopaedic....

The G-10 looks perfect; the last contrasting band echos the handle contour quite nicely. I would imagine that's not easy to do. I'm glad you were able to "dig up some stones". Where did you find them? (;))

thanks, GSOM (Dubz too!).

Ah, that stupid middle pin...
So I pulled a stupid and managed to drill a 1/4" hold in the middle of the scales. The tang holes in the blade are 3/16". Can't drill hardened A2, so I punted and drilled both sides to 1/4" and put a tube around the 3/16" pin. This side came out nice and even. The other side not quite as good (hence the photo on this side ;-) ). There would have been great profanity were this a customer's knife, but it's already used and only for my stable. Oh well, can't win 'em all.

Well, what I was actually thinking was that it looked pretty cool.....and luckily it was the center pin. If it were either of the two end pins, that would look stupid. Could end up being your "maker's mark"....."Oh, yeah this is definitely daizee's work, probably ca. 2015 when he first started putting these center pins in all his knives...."

This says everything I have to say!
Had to list the Yuma for sell, and listing the Benchmade Bone collector folder for sale in a few as well. Wife needs a new A/C compressor in her car and we have a several trips coming up thats 4+ hours one way..... In the heat with no A/C and 2 small kids thats no fun at all. Thats life i guess. Im listing it for less than i have in it plus there is a 10 dollar beckerhead discount for anyone here that may be interested...

Sorry to hear that Supes. The AC compressor USUALLY isn't too hard to replace. It might be something you can do yourself. Just thinking it might be cheaper.

There have been quite a few people looking for them. That might actually help it to sell.

Sweet bike, Jared & Todd!
I forgot Todd's kid is named Jared and was really confused for about .0000003 seconds. (Give or take)

If you see this bird, it's very likely the last thing you'll ever see...

Laying in the jacuzzi with a bottle of vodka and The Bad Company channel playing on slacker. If this doesn't put me to sleep tonight.

Sorry about the car bro. I feel your
Pain deeply. In the past two weeks my ac broke, thermostat wore out, alternater died, and the belts got loose because my engine is leaking oil..

I got that all fixed but engine leaking/belt problem.

Spent well north of $1,000 and am exactly $520 in debt to capital 1 not including the $100 my girlfriend put up, but we're a team. I do everything I can but always remain short bro. Damn

Good luck!
