Saw this and thought of the kid.

It is a slow day, I am just getting up, I finally got some sleep last night. Drinking the majority (not exactly sure of the quantity) of vodka definitely helped getting some sleep.

Now to find some breakfast (when I finish my coffee)

I like his videos. Had to give him crap one time for the way he mispronounced 'Oregon'. Not sure why everyone thinks it's Or-EE-gone, that's pretty much the only wrong way to pronounce it.

Me; Hey just wanted to make sure its ok to send this knife to your son

Kids dad; Oh yea thats fine, well this is the first im hearing about it but its OK with me.....

Me; Ok thanks then, ill get it ready for him......


Here is how it would of went with my dad back when i was your age...

Knife seller; Is it ok if i send your son a knife

My dad; Go right on ahead and send him one, but first how much is this going to cost me?

Knife seller; 215 total shipped

My dad; You son of -BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEPING BEEP BEEP BEEPING BEEP- Click.... Dial tone. :D


The kids dad didnt even ask the price LOL he was good to go either way!!! I should call him back and say it was 500 :D -snark

Now now, we dont know what kind of deals the kid makes with his dad for the funds for knives. If my boy wanted a $200+ knife, he would signing a chore contract for no less then a year. Dishes, lawn mowing, leaf collection ECT.

When I wanted my first guitar as a kid I had to do dishes every Sunday for 2 years
 
The kid was selling some stuff to fund something, iirc. He's probably buying it. Nah, my dad would have kept the damn thing at that price, haha.
 
My parents could care less, or don't want to know, Me thinks the later...:D He probably would have cussed you out WW if he'd 'a asked how much, but he didn't want to know. They're pretty cool about it because it's my own money, They'd laugh if I asked to borrow 215 tho...

Also, it may be because my Parents are some of the coolest on the face of the earth, I was telling her (mom) about how WW posted a knife I really wanted the day after I contact James T about a Custom job, and then she suggests that I give it a go and if I don't like it I can sell it, and if I do I can sell other stuff and work for the Terrio funds. How cool is that!? Also, she's going to make a special trip into town (35 miles round trip) to do the Money order. And I'm like, 20 bucks short, which she's agreed to cover for the contract to my soul.
