Bill and company really get into their own after those first five years as waynorth waynorth had mentioned! It was a little touch and go at first but they start to introduce some of the tremendous classic that we all love to collect, use, coon finger and chicken eye!!! I must admit, I was waiting for this to arrive before I made the effort to start the thread. So here we go, 2012-2017!!!! Lets get the party started!!!! I myself did not really get into the game until about 2014-2015 (college, finding a job, student loans, etc, etc) Rendezvous was slowly getting bigger and better each year! And it was still civil when I attended my first one. Hope every one breaks out some of the classics and shares some nice memories for the next five years of GEC!!!!

Ill start with this nice user that arrived the other day, a pattern that I love usually in the big clip offering but they never did that for the stainless

Ahhhh! Glad to see that one went to someone who’s going to appreciate it, but man I wish I had been faster on it! 😂

I had a few different knives in this time period from GEC, and while I had been collecting knives in general for a few years already, this was the first part of my adventure into traditional knives.
I’ve had to go back into my photo archive and find a bunch of these again, because I’ve sold all of them (for which I am ashamed 😂), but they were some of the knives that started me on traditional slipjoints.

(Ignore the TA Davison, I can’t find a picture of just the navy knife 😅)

Edit: grabbed the wrong Northwoods photo the first time…

thanks!!! The gec 15 is another one that is near and dear to my heart. Way back in the day, i gifted a 15 single sheepsfoot with end cap in ebony to someone on the forums, shame they disappeared after that! I figured id start with the book ends for the year at least!

2016 - 15 Crown Lifter in antique jigged bone. So many great blades came out in 2016 it was hard to pick. The TCs and pinch clip 77s. I went a few nights without eating that year 😂
