The Next Gathering Will Be May 12th

I am going to bring my brother in law Jake. Hope no one minds. He's just kinda getting into knives wilderness stuff just like me. He seems pretty excited about it. Should be there around 9:30. See ya
But does he play the blues? ;)
Ya'll have fun.:)

Thank you JK for hosting and a big thanks to everyone for their contribution to the bacon bonanza! It was great to meet you all, hope to attend another gathering in the future.

You know I didn't even catch that until you said it. Lol!

We did have fun. Thanks JK for having us! Everyone was very welcoming and of course the food and beer was incredible! Already looking forward to the next one. Now, if I can just convince Jake to make an account on bladeforums:)

P.s. Just placed an order for my first JK knife; Anniversary EDC with tan canvas micarta. Can't wait!!!

you know what? i keep hearing about these good times, and i may just end up driving over from VT. Yikes! glad y'all had a good time.

I`m glad to hear you guys had a good time, and I really enjoyed the different bacon dishes we shared! Everytime we have one of these I look forward to the next one. Hopefully mqqn will post pictures, I was having so much fun that I forgot all about my camera.

Thanks John for having us over, I like your shop, it has a lot of cool knife maker stuff in it. Your templates let me compare many different designs side by side. I also enjoyed visiting with the guys and learning many methods of bacon consumption.

I don't think Jacob posts much here - but that was a lattice work of thick, smoked bacon, layered with a pound of pork sausage, another pound of bacon, cooked and crumbled, then seasoning (red pepper etc) then bbq sauce. The whole deal is rolled up and then smoked for several hours.

We served this on split dougnuts if the diner was brave enough.

Nice photos Andy. Good lookin' spread!

Jeff

We missed you - we ate some bacon for you.

Sean never turned up - hope he is ok.

wow. amazing. the heart attack special! but, it sounds delightful. thanks mqqn.

I would have put on ten extra pounds at this get together. It would have been worth it though.
BTW, who ended up with the Toothpick in the for sale pic?

Most of the for sale stuff is still here. The best stuff was not in the picture, I wanted to keep some of it a surprise, it all sold fast!

Looks like fun! I have one of those blue cub scout knives in my truck. A lot of memories using it as a kid. Btw, bacon is one of those foods I could never give up, mmmmmm yum.
