Turns out to be a good thing I missed it, since I discovered that all of us who are salaried at my employer are taking a 7% pay cut minimum to try and keep us all employed and afloat.

Ah well, still got a K18 coming, and I already paid for that!

They are typically on fridays at 3PM.

Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist will make an announcement about the sale, when it is, and give an idea of what's available. He includes a link in his post to the seller page. Go to that page a few minutes before friday @ 3, refresh the page like crazy, once it loads, go into the sale thread and post a reply as fast as possible to claim your spot.

Spots fill up in seconds. It helps if you have a fast computer/internet connection.

So to clarify, we basically dogpile in, and then the first ten posters get their pick of what's for sale in the order that they posted in? And theoretically if they miss what they want and don't want anything else, the next person in line gets a shot?

Tomorrow's sale will be Field Knives (standard, swedge, a few sharp spine), Utility Fighters, Medium and HDMC choppers and the 12" Behemother. I'd hoped to get a potato knife or two in there but I can't work in the primary shop here because I'm over at the other space banging out K18 sheet and cutting sharp spines for the Field knives.

(we're spread across four buildings on two properties at the moment. It's awful)

I’d say, take it easy, Nathan, but that’s probably not going to happen. So, at least, take care and be relatively safe. That sounds like a fun line-up of knives for tomorrow! Mike
