Check out the first two posts with pictures in: SDFK Sale

1st post in that thread is Basic, 2nd is Signature SDFK.

The signature is lighter (14.8 oz vs. 1 lbs 1 oz for the basic), due to holes under the scales and swedge, has a cursive signature, and costs $125 more.
And has the slight S-curve in the primary grind that Nathan pefected for the multi-Bladesport title Competition Chopper.

Oh cut the crap. You have more than once spent comparable $, fingers crossed in hopes of a nice thin high performance edge that left much to be desired. This here is some world class sh*t that you have zero doubt will be the gold standard for knives of this shiv-tastic nature. Better sell something and stock pile some cash otherwise you are gonna have regrets after seeing all the pics I post of mine.

All true. What are friends for?

OTOH, I retired, and our assets have dropped 16% YTD. We are comfortable and can easily ride it out, but I'm trying to get resinwife to cut back on the daily Amazon delivery of shite we don't need. Trying to be somewhat consistent, at least.

On the Gripping Hand, I did include a generous amount for Hobby expenses in the financial planning process. And you only have to put half down now ....

Is this a “half down now” preorder? I thought that was done with the k20 because the viability of the manufacturing process was in question. Aren’t most preorders “cash up front”?

I wasn't planning to but somebody asked about it. Yeah, most pre-orders are 100% upfront. And, as a rule going forward, I don't intend to deviate from that very often.

There are pros and cons to both ways. I have been on the fence on this one. I'm going to go ahead and do the 50-50 this time. The majority of people here have expressed this as their preference. And I have too many open pre-orders right now, I am holding too much of y'all's cash. We'll take the balance as they deliver.

Thank you boss. Also, curse you, boss.

This means I'll be able to snag one, I hope, although it likely will not be as fancy as my usual preorders.

For the shiv can we get some details about the difference between the satin grind after tumble and the lengthwise satin grind please?
