Thanks ChazzyP. Very nice CRK knives you have. I love the natural micarta inlays with the leather fob. Goes great together. I also like your choice on the CF sebbie. Changing the fobs are a nice way to differentiate yours from others and adds some personality to it. I didn't get my Inkosi from Knifeart (although I do buy a lot of knives from them). I bought it from Bladehq. I believe they have an exclusive to the CF inlays. Mine didn't come with the bead. I had bought two of those beads back in 2013 from a paracord website. My Inkosi came with the black paracord. I had seen a special edition CF Inkosi on bladehq that had that color combo paracord and a bead but they were sold out. I put my name on an email list when they received more but the ones they received where with the black paracord. I bought one and found the blue and gray paracord at an Army Navy surplus store while skiing in New Hampshire. The day my knife arrived I cut the black cord off and put the blue/gray w/bead on.

My bad.....I forgot I had already posted my knife on this thread. Oooops.

You didn't double post it here, man. I did see it on the two or three others you posted to. All good though--I don't mind lookin' at that beauty in several places.

Edit: Oh you did double-post--don't know how I missed that when I looked back through. Still, no worries, man, especially since your second pic is nicer! :cool:

I got this bead off Amazon and I think it goes pretty well. I just re-tied the old lanyard since Paracord won't fit in the little hole and I don't want to through the frame.
 
I like that bead, Chris. I have the same one on my 111 to match the ti and CF.

You can wrap the post in CRKs instead of using the hole if you don't want to go through the frame. Just burn a little piece of cord in the hole through the post to keep it from falling out. 440 paracord is what fits CRKs.

I didn't realize there were other kinds of paracord now I'm off to amazon to find some others.

I re-tied it last night with some blue and black Paracord mixed

It's OK after I sanded the crap out of the bottom and sides and shimmed the screw side (the things I do for beauty). When I first got it it wouldn't even sit against the frame, if they're all like mine it's not worth the $55 plus shipping.

Thanks, sph. Right side up, you can see the owl's brows, eyes, and beak, with his tail feathers at the bottom. Upside down, like in the pic, it looks like a dude with a big-ass mustache and giant Pope-hat.

I like the bobtail fob that I've been adding on both folders and fixed blades, two diamond knots with a Celtic bead sandwiched between and a whipping knot to keep the cord from flopping around too much, handy to help draw the knife from the sheath as well as being decorative too.

I like the way that bead is sandwiched between the two diamond knots, Gary. I'll have to try that on a knife or two.

In the meantime, I picked up this Shirogorov bead on the Exchange and a bit later found this Hati here too. The way the lanyard hole is placed in the backspacer is kinda cool, but it's not an easy proposition getting 550 cord through there. Some disassembly required....
