Lol. Its all your James. :thumbup: :) by the way, you cost me $15. bucks today. Been singing old Iron Maiden songs in my head all day. Man I sure do miss listening to the old stuff. Went out and bought the Somewhere back in time disc. Got all the good ones from 80 to 89. There best years in my opinion. Usually I'd cuss ya for costin me money...... but damn man........Thanks! :thumbup:
 
If you guys needed spent brass you should of let me know, I had plenty of 45.APC and 30-30 left over, even a few 38S&W
 
Hey if you guys just have a bunch of unused shells id take a few of 45...I dont own guns so i wont be making any brass so it will eventually come in handy for sure. I like the idea and was looking at my .45 bead when i thought about it LOL But it wont be a "soon" project. Id want to make a nice knife for that... I still need practice before i start making what i consider nice knives LOL

i should still have some spent brass left over, ill check tomorrow and let you know, i might also have some 223, if you want unfired instead let me know
 
Stalemate for the last 2 or 3 weeks, still 3 of us riding. Sadly I believe we're all equally stubborn. This could be a long winter.
 
Haha - Winter hasn't even started yet, Murph.

Tried a new brewery in Greenwood last night. It's called Mashcraft Brewing and it hold up. Much closer than Sun King (I don't have to drive downtown), excellent beer, and reasonable growler fill and pint prices. Their Imperial Belgian Brown, "Linus and Lucy" was excellent. :thumbup:

Changing the conversation before I get on my soapbox on politics. Really got hooked up today. I've been looking for a good sized anvil for a long time. Found a few but the prices where ridiculous. 150 lb. anvil is hard to find around here under $500. bucks. That's not gonna happen. I got a phone call from a buddy of mine friday afternoon wanting to know if I had found one yet. He said his mother just called him and found a 250 lb. Anvil at a auction wanted to know what to bid on it for me. I told her a dollar a lb. Totally not expecting to even come close to getting it. Lol, she called me back 10 minutes later and said she won the auction at $220. Very thrilled, its old, but this thing is in great shape. Cant wait to start playing around with it.

 
I'm ready for a hammer in, Todd! I've got my "steaming pile" knife blank in 01 to finish.
 
I guess there is no more excuses left for me now. Time to build a forge.
 
You kind of threw any of those excuses out of a window after incinerating them with a massive fireball of quench oil when you snagged that anvil.

I assume you can find or make a steel shell.
I have it on good authority that missouri refractory is what you want to cast the chamber out of
I probably have some spare kaowool to put around that as insulation.
and I have a buddy who makes 30k BTU burners if you don't want to make your own.
