You might recall my informal neck knife poll I started earlier this week. I kind of lied and said it was informal, in reality, it was to gather feedback about something special....THE OFFICIAL WS&S FORUM NECK KNIFE!!!

Designed by myself, Brian Jones and Dan Koster, the WS&S Necker features

3" blade
3.5" handle
CPM 3V Steel Flat Ground
1/8" thick
1" wide blade
Included Kydex Sheath with integral 3rd layer slim belt loop
Upgrade to micarta handle slabs for approximately $30 more
Kephart-inspired handle and spearpoint blade
Sharp 90 degree spine for firesteel striking
Koster "K" marking and no "WS&S" logo or "BF" logo

This final design is what we feel the ideal practical neck knife is.

The WS&S Necker will be available soon for $75 plus shipping. Dan will create a small run of these and they will be sold on a first come first serve basis. All but one (reserved for a generous giveaway by Dan) will be for sale. Brian and I already claim #1 and #2 but you can get your's soon.

We're working out payment details now. Don't E-mail Dan about these. I'll post more details once we figure them out.

I don't know about you but I am really pumped for this blade!

Wow! Very nice!

Will these have any markings on them? Something to show that they are W/SS exclusives?
 
I will definitely be trying to get in on that. It's a great design and it will be cool to have a WSS knife.:thumbup:

I wanted to post in that thread and just didn't get the time. Doesn't look like my absence was such a problem - the dimensions and shape are what appeals most to me whether it's a necker, in my bag or in my pocket.

Same here Mike. I'm actually hoping they take their time with this one and it comes around closer to income tax return time. Thats only about eight weeks away so I might be able to pseter my financial advisor (wife) enough to skim a little off the top. :p
 
I'll be in for this one. I'm a fan of all of Dan's work. He's got enough of my money to prove it. ;)
 
It's bigger than I would like, but you folks with more experience with neck knives seem to like them that size.

Regardless of where I would carry it, $75 for a 3V blade and sheath is a very good deal. I just got my first Koster and he really makes a nice knife.
 
Not crazy about handle design, but considering Its a limited run, im in, when are they available?

Also, if its offical, it should have WS&S in it:D
 
definatly a cool knife, although i dont know if i will end up buying one. too much other stuff i plan on buying over the next couple months. maybe on the second run though.
