Nice! I need one of those Wengers one of these days, but the old cross is hard to beat.

New arrival of another Old Cross, the blade is stamped 97.

My Pruner is a standard silver one. Yours is much cooler!

The Pioneer looks cool and everything but other than using it for camping, which I never do, I wouldn't have a need for the can opener or lid lifter.

I don't have much need for the can opener, but the cap lifter is super handy. Open a beer, screwdriver, light prying tasks...it's a great tool for me to have around. The awl is surprisingly handy too. I'd probably prefer the electrician with the extra blade instead of the can opener, but I like the lanyard ring on the Pioneer.

Have one just like yours. Got me through 14 months of mandatory service in "89/90.
Knife went through hell and back and despite all the scratches and dings still functions like the day I got issued it with back in July 1989
Can't beat an Alox Vic ;)

I agree with Arizona. I think I use the cap lifter almost as much as the blade, It's not just for popping beers (although that's my favorite use) it's great for prying and scraping too.

Me personally if I need to scrape or pry anything, that's when I reach into my toolbox for a screwdriver or other tool. Them Pioneer's sure look purty though. :p
