No problem man, Maybe somebody down the road will want it. I am honestly surprised that noone has asked for the belt buckle. Its a pretty killer peice.

I'll leave it for someone else :) I have a tendency to loose things that aren't attached to me..haha

Man this thread moves fast. Pool cue is spoken for.
It will go from dusty and forgotten to used regularly. Awesome!

The sling arrived today & is perfect for my Savage 24C!
Thanks again CK,I really dig it & it'll be good to have that much paracord handy in case of an emergency while out & about with the Savage.

That sling is awesome, great work C_K, and congrats mykel!

I am really enjoying people posting pics of what they have picked up in the thread, great stuff, keep it coming!

Wow, I didn't know Gerber had another Hinderer design besides that one rescue knife. Learn something new everyday.

I would be tempted to grind the serrations out from the sharpening notch directly to the farthest point of the tip (taking out the tanto upsweep all together) and reprofiling it to a wharnie. That would be sweet. Kind of like a thinner kershaw needs work blade.

Anybody interested in any of these goodies? Tinder dust, Fatwood and Carabiners all claimed

Dang, that's what I get for putting the munchkin to bed. Seconds on these! Those would work great with my piston fire starter, and my two oldest could use them for their Emergency Preparedness and camping merit badges.

Does the maya dust work in a firepiston? Or are you just using that to catcn the coal?

So for paying it forward I have a Smith's Tri-Hone sharpening system. I won't lie to you guys, it's not in like new shape, but it still gives you a sharp edge, so what more can you want? I do kind of have a bond with it but I feel like it needs a new home and some new stories since I've been using it less and less. It's the first sharpening system I ever bought and learned to freehand on and it's seen almost every blade I've ever owned at least once in the past 3 years. It's just collecting dust right now and I really think someone getting into sharpening should have it as a system to start with and learn on, or even just to maintain a good edge for someone not looking to get into Japanese wet stones, diamond stones, or ceramic stones like me. I'll include a bottle of Nathan's honing oil that I've found the stone likes with whoever says "I'll take it."
I'm going to ask fur this of it hasnt been claimed yet
How about an LED lenser head lamp? Super bright, one of the best headlamps I know of.

pic off web, same head lamp.

In Also not much in the way of flashlights either, as in, I don't have one lol. Other than my multitool, SDI if this is still up, I'll take it

So many pages back fetzer85 allowed me to offer some of my Rat 1's to anyone who wanted one in exchange for his Grey Rat 1. I have been looking for one of these for a long time, it is a dealer exclusive and they are fairly hard to find (well for me at least). Not only did fetzer graciously agree to allow me to "trade" for it, but he also apparently paid extra to have it shipped quickly to me. It arrived today! Thank you fetzer for the generous gift, it looks even better in person! I can't wait to use this knife, thank you again to everyone for participating in this thread!

You're very welcome Whetstone. It's a beautiful knife and I hope you enjoy it. What surprised me the most about the RAT 1 is how well it holds up. I've had mine for about 2yrs now and after taking it apart and cleaning it a few weeks ago it's good as new. Really an amazing value.

nickortizzle it cant pm you so I just sent an email..... wait-im an idiot and I didnt put my address in! Standby for second email!
