This is a great thread guys! Let's keep it up!

Yes, please pay it forward and help keep this a great thread.

By the way, I am shipping out the stones and Sapien today. After that, I may be done with this thread, except to contact Worldwood about the bow. Maybe I'm just cut from a different cloth, but I do not feel like everyone cares about the spirit of this thread.

Thanks to all that have given to me and to others. Thanks to the people who expressed happiness at what I passed on. You have really picked my spirits up.

I'm just getting up to start my work week @ the prison & decided to check up on things while I let the dogs out. Worldwood I must say those are some beautiful looking knives I've always kept an eye out for a Busse I could bite the bullet on & afford but like in an earlier post I have both a "warden" & a "boss" (wife) that would through a T total shhh fit if the spent that kind of $ on a blade. Had a buddy show off his basic4 to me & that's kind of the one I always keep my eye opened for. Are they really worth the price tag ?

Yeah, Busse/Kin really are worth the price tag. That said, I understand the initial shock of said pricetag, and it took me a while to get past it. I firmly suggest you do what I did.

- First off, STAY OUT OF THE FAMILY BUDGET!! Keeping the wife happy is way more important than any knife.
- Second, save up your fun money. Lunch money - brown bag it, buy/sell/flip stuff, you really can save a bit in a hurry if you REALLY pay attention to a dollar here, a dollar there. Keep her in the loop what you are doing, that you are saving for something, but not using the "family" money for it.
- Set a goal of what you want, and research it in the meantime while you save.
- Watch he exchange diligently for users, even older posts, I have gotten several at a good deals on scuffed/used Busse kin that do not affect function at all.
- Use them, that is where the value really sets in, and they shine. They rarely loose much value in use unless you are really destroying one.

I would be sorry to see you go if that is what you decide, but would of course understand if you had your reasons. You have given very generously and i am certain made many people happy out there

Since no ones interest was sparked by my offer of bicycle parts I am going to look harder for things to pay-forward I believe most of what I will find will be small b.o.b./survival type stuff, ot will be small but useful. Im going to look harder for two reasons:
first, I was paid-in-a-forwardly-direction more than a couple things and while I dont agree with the +1/-1 acounting idea, I have recieved more than I have given.
second, it really does make me feel good to pay it forward and I will enjoy the things I have recieved more if I know I have helped someone else out.

This is self goverening at work we all know where we are in our hearts and minds, use that info to make decsions that will benefit others and in the end, yourself. Dont know about anyone's god or religion but I often ask myself "if I was telling my mom about everything I do what would she think?"and that usually keeps me on track.....

I thought about it, and read up on it. It seems like a good user blade. If you don't mind this knife going to a young feller, my 8 year old could probably grow into it. I would pick up a nice sheath for it. Not a problem. Let me know.

Here are a couple of items that could use good homes...
First is the first big knife I ever owned, it was used to skin my first deer. But I haven't used it in years and it should go where it can be put to use. The only catch is that it doesn't have a sheath anymore.

Next is a viper pro pool cue with a case and chalk holder. A friend gave this to me but I don't see myself using it anytime soon. ---Claimed by Raindog101, then passed on to NCCNC who can get more use from it.---

Maybe a good idea to repost some of the unclaimed stuff, as we're now 76 pages deep! It takes a while to sort through what's still around that's still unclaimed, and those folks would like to give them to someone. Also, folks on the fence about giving something, just do it! It does give you the warm and fuzzies to read how happy others are to get your stuff!

And, PAY IT FORWARD!

Lol at the mom thing. That seems like it'd be strangely efficient.

I still have some once fired and tumbled brass for reloading. .45 auto(PMC) 75 rds, 38 Special 45 rds, and 40 S & W 15 rds.

I sure hope you don't leave, perhaps expressing exactly what you don't like about the the thread will help.

I hope you know that I was never complaining about the SAKs, just trying to unveil your source.

Sounds perfect. I was a bit older than him when I got this knife but I used it quite a bit back then; cutting and sharpening samplings making spears and bows, stuff like that. It was screaming sharp when I first got it, I bled on it the first day, so I know it can take a keen edge. But it can also take some abuse and the rubber handle, though not pretty, makes it super grippy. You can probably get a generic nylon sheath for cheap.

Im going to jump in here and say im more than interested in what you have to offer LMAO, and your generosity is not to go unnoticed, You have offered to help me get a bicycle if you could find one, now thats more than generous and if we were doing that crazy score thing it would not be equal to giving something as small as some of the things others have given, myself included.

You add up what i have given, A cryo that cost around 25, a stun gun that cost around 25, some coupons for cigarettes were free, smalll buck and wire saw ~10 bucks, A pistol magazine, ~20 bucks... ALl that added up doesnt touch taking the time to help me find a bicycle and then shipping it over here. Even if you dont find a bike, A tube gets me back mobile and saves me hours walking. Im so grateful for you generosity!

Dont sell yourself short, im not, your one of the top givers here if you ask me!!!

Heads up for tomorrow night, i am going to be posting an ESEE, can't decide which one yet, it will be an Izula, a 3, or a 4. Probably will be an easy hockey related question attached to it in order to claim it, i'll alert the "day" crew and post a pick of the one I decide to offer. Tentatively scheduled for 8:00 pm CST

I posted this last night, still can't decide which so i will let whoever takes it choose. There will be a National Hockey League (NHL) question attached to it that no one will know (hopefully) that everyone will have to look up equally. I'll post pics, will be around 8:00 CST

(I know most of you know what NHL stands for, but was thinking of international participants as well)

I'd be interested in bike parts too. I ride both mountain and road. I was thinking of throwing some old pedals up.

I don't want to bring a bunch of negativity to the thread. Other people are just more tolerant than myself, perhaps because I was really feeling positive off the vibes here and now it's sort of an either/or thing. Lol.
