ok guys im curious as to what busse knife yall would take with you in a survival situation. you can only have one knife and your pack. What would yall take??

haha he cheated. well i just got back from the Ozarks. had to answer this question in real life. took my sons hogfsh and his saber sfno and a ash1. its still hard to say but its def between the hogfsh and the saber. the hog handled the bigger limbs and small trees with no problem and the saber did very well to. now the saber def performed better with the shavings and getting some curls for the fire. Overall its close but ill probably take the sfno. If only it was a little thicker that would amazing. but the saber def held its own and was light as a feather. sorry i dont have any pics my camera died while i was out there.

Bet it was a nice day down that way! Hopefully a little less windy than it is here, gusting about 35 mph at the moment ahead of the cold front. What's the thickness on your son's saber SFNO?

yea it was nice. the wind started picking up but still felt good. kept blowing my dang fire out though lol. its around .25

My favorite combo is a AD paired with an original FSH.

If I had to pick just one knife I would go with the SFNO as a good compromise between agility and chopping power.

I'm almost sure your sabre SFNO is 0.22". If it's a fatty then it's 0.27".

The HR that I once owned wasn't as thick as my 0.22" sabre SFNO's. It was thinner for sure. I can't remember how thick it actually was. Also I don't know how thick a regular SFNO is.

The NMFBM is the one to have if you can only have one. I would sneak a GEC or two in my pocket when nobody was looking.

thats why i compared it to my regular sfno which is .22 and it is thicker than that.
