The one knife everyone should own at some point in their life!

I'm not a big fan of SAks or Opinels personally, I like OHO & some proper steel in my folders, but everyone should definitely try a Mora at least once in their life imo.

Microtech Socom Delta. Just got one, and it is so solid. It I'd kind of expensive, but I happened to find a better deal than I thought possible.

Has nobody really not mentioned a Becker yet. I'd say the BK9. I instantly loved this knife. I can't believe how light weight it is. I thought the seller ripped me off and sent me an empty box just to rub it in my face in it the box was so light when recieved. Light weight, crazy controllable, well balanced, slicer!! all around great knife. If you have smaller hands put a choil on it to get more control.this is one of the sharpest knives I've got out of the box. My expectations for it were no where near the perfectional reality. I'm blown away by it. Espeically for the price their at too. If you don't don't believe the hype buy one and then tell me (and the many many others)I'm wrong. I know i'll end up owning 2 9's and a 5 and 7 and ...... For folder's can't recommend Benchmade enough. And a multi- tool of some sort everyone should own.

I own CRK's, ZT's, Spydercos, Fallknivens and many others but I'd have to say the Buck 110 is the one that every knife lover shown own at least once in their lifetime.

Bottom line, opinel is the Floyd Mayweather of knives. Never flashy, doesn't get the respect it deserves.
Floyd "money" may weather? Never flashy? The guy who carries a million dollars in with him in a bag everywhere? Known as the greatest lightweight boxer? Anyway, it sounds like I need an opinel regardless of the comparison

I say dragonfly for knife everyone should own. Once you get one you realize that Lil pipsqueek can do almost everything!

If you want a workhorse of a knife, the spyderco military hands down. Sebenza is great but its not a knive that joe shmoe can afford or would think of spending $450 on a plain looking knife, not knowing what it has to offer. Edc wise, para 2, no doubt.
A wild card of a knife is a microtech socom elite. Best tactical knife and it actually cuts, matter of fact it cuts amazing.

What is the deal with Moras? I know a lot of ppl love them, but I like at them online and I just dont see the appeal yet. They arent my style, but are they really worth it to own just 1?

They're cheap and they cut. Plain and simple. Not something you carry with you everywhere but if you're looking for a cheap beater for around the house, camping, or whittling, Mora's your knife. They come in carbon and stainless steel. For $15 sign me up, and as far was looks go, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think Mora's are beautiful.:p I've seen some decked out expensive folders on here that I thought were quite distasteful, so everyone has there own preferences.

Griptilian or mini grip. Most versatile knife I have ever owned. Although a SAK should be one of the first knives a man should own.

If you actually mean everyone, and not just us knife weirdos, then Kershaw Leek.

The general population thinks a $50 knife is nuts, so saying everyone should have a Sebenza doesnt make sense to me. It like giving a frat boy a great single malt, they wont appreciate it or understand it.
