Just because you might not understand any of it allow mw to translate into authentic Otterish dialect.
Done with the approval of Chairman EEEHH Bah GOOmm.(Lord Mayor of Otley).

Jack-could be urban rugby myth. keep in mind the Welsh are second only to the Kiwis in holding rugby as a religion.

I am in! If I won, I could take a picture of the knife witth my turn of the century Victorian penny (thanks for that cool penny, by the way!)

I woukd love to live in Otley because anything sounds better when said with an English accent! Even rude cursing sounds delightful to the ear!

Also, as a ps, I was there in that thread when you made that lovely gesture, and I took as nothing but. Simply a nice offer to pick up a knife to help some one else out!

Thanks T, glad you got the coin in the end, and thanks again for picking the winner in that other thread :) Incredibly, Brian, who you picked, has sourced some Henerson's Relish! :D

I would like to live in Otley so that I can finally learn what a "Yorkshire pudding" tastes like.

Tha'll get chilblains if tha sits t' close t'fire.

I suffered from chilblains a number of years ago, resulting in my feeling rather sordid in a Dickensian way. Among other things.

I would love to live in Otley because I think it would be a grand lot of fun to follow Jack around after he's had a few and listen to him tell someone why he should or shouldn't buy their knife (opportunity to learn a thing or two). And hopefully he'd point a warefaring stranger towards a good shepards or kidney and steak pie.

I'm not sure you'd lean anything from me Mr Martin, but it'd certainly be great to take you, or any of you other fellers, out for a few pints :)

I will forfeit my third post because I made my second 4 hours+ before the 24 hour minimum.

yorkshire pudding is easy. Its not really pudding. Its pancake batter(milk flour egg). smear some oil into a metal muffin pan . get it sizzling, spoon the batter in and cook till risen and browned.
Black Pudding however is to avoided at all costs.
