The Parliament Of The Olamic Owls Is Now In Session

I’m still not sure what’s going on with my Whippersnapper build. Eugene told me over two weeks ago that they were ready to go, but I haven’t heard from them since and they haven’t responded to my emails.

Pretty abnormal in my experience.

The show this weekend may have taken priority. Hope you receive it soon. Give them a shout on customer support too.

PM me...
I've got his phone number...

Im not quite to that point yet, lol. I want a Whippersnapper something fierce, but I can be patient a bit longer.

Yea, that was my thought too. I figured I’d wait until after BladeShow and contact him again if he doesn’t get back to me. One of the other makers I’ve been working with has been pulling 16 hour days for over a week to get ready for Blade, so I’m trying my best to just bide my time. :)

WhipperSnapper update:
This little beast is super-slicey!
But the CTS-XHP steel does lose an edge quicker, than do the M-390 blades on the other knives.
Fortunately: a quick stropping brought it back to being scarey sharp! 👍

Like the stone of sysyphus...the eternal struggle of knifedom.

I purchased three BLADE Show Prototypes this weekend at the show:

Friday, it was these two:

Eugene said they don't even have a name for that blade shape on the top knife as yet, but as you can see, they've added the moveable thumbstud from the Soloist. Excellent blade, also my first Olamic knife in S90v! The second knife, a marked prototype with a fully Carbon Fiber showside scale, no liners. Absolutely insane how different the weight is between these two knives, it's night and day.

Saturday, I went back and they had put out some of their Appetizers on the table. I got the one that features their very first "jeweled" pivot. As in, this knife has the first one they've done. Zirconium showside scale, hand-filed backspacer, jeweled clipside. What a score!!

Knife envy.
All very nice choices. The carbon fiber must be extremely light as you say...wow.
Glad it was a great show for you.
