Does the full carbon fiber scale cause a decrease in durability or strength of the knife?

Not really. Plenty of companies have built knives which have CF scales without liners, because CF by itself is a very strong material. That said, would I beat on this thing like I would a cheaper plastic handled Cold Steel? Almost certainly not. Your mileage and use-case needs may vary!

I picked up that Bowie on top. They got me good. Olamic's only weakness is their steel choice, IMO. So a Bowie (my favorite blade shape) and S90V (my favorite stainless)? Sold. I'll be putting my other 2 247s up for sale soon.
