The Parliament Of The Olamic Owls Is Now In Session

Not really. Plenty of companies have built knives which have CF scales without liners, because CF by itself is a very strong material. That said, would I beat on this thing like I would a cheaper plastic handled Cold Steel? Almost certainly not. Your mileage and use-case needs may vary!
I've got a SOG Terminus that has both C.F. scales, and liners...

Those are neat, but that doesn't invalidate what I said. Not trying to attack you here, but there are many makers out there who make knives with CF scales and they don't add liners, because they don't really need to. Both of my Bob Dozier customs have CF slabs and no liners.

If it's good enough for Bob, and for Olamic, it's good enough for me. I mean, there are reasons why high end car manufacturers make parts out of carbon fiber, one being lightness, another being strength.

Just like the Bugout 535-3

Yessir. Also, I went and looked up that Terminus you mentioned. It seems to me that they probably went with liners, because the Terminus knives in the other cover options had 'em and it was just easier to keep the liners across the entire line. Those scales definitely look thick enough that they could have done without them, however. Good looking knives.

Ilya just said they have Bowie blades but not sure about matching bodies. Story continues. Report back soon.

Sorry!
Will you be the spokesman for us; when we have questions? There is no pay, and the hours are horrible! 🤣
