The Perfect Swiss Army Knife?

Based on my needs, the Victorinox Super Tinker is just about perfect. I have used this model for backpacking for 17 years. It's not too heavy and not too thick. Instead of the corkscrew, it has the Phillips head screwdriver for maintaining my camp stove and of course, most importantly, the scissors.

I am about to go for the Trekker (http://www.swissarmy.com/MultiTools/Product.htm?category=outdoor&product=54874&), for its locking blade (I just don't trust myself around non-lockers anymore) as a trail companion to my Buck 110. Gotta carry a SAK.

Hiker, just like your super tinker except the scissors are replaced by a saw and it doesn't have the package hook.

I also like the classic Swiss-Champ, the Craftsman and the ALox Farmer!

I'm still think the Alox "farmer" is best suited to me. Has a small footprint in the pocket, I like the blades/features it comes with, and the Alox scales are a must for me.

Either a Super Tinker or a One Hander or both are always with me. Love um,now if they would only make a One hander with scissors and a small pe blade instead of the saw I would be in heaven.

I carried the basic Tinker or equivalent for about 20 years. Around 15 years ago I switched to the Adventurer. This is basically a stretched Tinker with a 3.25-inch locking blade and without the little pen knife blade. I don't need the scissors of the Super Tinker. The Adventurer is surprisingly light and only two spring-channels thick.

A KL91 Soldier for urban carry and a Farmer everywhere else.
Both have a Photon Freedom light attached to the keyring.

Loved my Huntsman - Saw, Scissors, and Tweezers are great for camping. Only thing is I prefer locking blades so I got a Trekker many years ago when they used to be called something else - Rucksack I think. The Trekker has logged many mile camping and its been great. I missed having scissors so I added a Leatherman Micra Scissors in the same pouch.

So far, the best one I've found is the Fieldmaster.
It's like having the Hiker and the Super Tinker all in one--the basics plus the phillips, and the scissors, and the woodsaw.
And I put StayGlow scales on it!
